Without any movement within, it will abide within and transform. Similarly, as stated in the Prophecy of Intentions: "Through symbols, the three abodes are established, the nature of self-recitation. Nameless, unspeakable, this is the supreme Bodhicitta. The three become one essence, without going or coming." Thus, the self-recitation of the nature that cannot be expressed by the essence of names and words, the Bodhicitta that combines the wind mantra's suchness without distinction, at the end of reciting the wind, the three of entering, abiding, and rising cease to exist separately and become one taste. At that time, it is said that the wind neither goes out nor comes in. In that tantra, it is said, "Bodhicitta is the transformation of wind." Therefore, Bodhicitta here is wind. In that tantra, it is said that the three suchnesses of the wind of entering, abiding, and rising become one taste. The meaning of the others is also the same. In the Vajra Garland, it is also said, "By skillfully applying the Vajra recitation, knowing the nature of the wind, cut off the various aspects of the discursive winds." Thus, it is said that the movement of the wind is cut off by Vajra recitation. Also, "At the nine gates of the senses, completely closing all, the Hum recitation is unparalleled." Thus, it is said that by Vajra recitation, all the gates such as the upper and lower nostrils are closed, and the wind does not move outward but is confined within. The meaning of these, in the Oral Instructions, is also said: "There, with Hum, it is emitted; with Ah, it is gathered; with Ahh, it abides. There, by firmly grasping that suchness, from entering, abiding, and rising, the wisdom of liberation is easily attained. Do not doubt or have two minds." Thus, by doing Vajra recitation, the wind separated from the three of rising, entering, and abiding dissolves, and from that, wisdom is attained, etc. Do not doubt or have two minds. This is very clearly stated. If so, how does the wind dissolve within by the Vajra recitation of two syllables? After becoming accustomed to this, the wind enters the central channel, and untying the knots of the channels is the same as the three syllables. At that time, the wind finds the path to its own root place and transforms by dissolving into its own place, like the stages of dying. Although two Vajra recitations are taught from the tantras, the establishment of the three-syllable Vajra recitation by the noble father and sons is merely symbolic. The Oral Instructions say, "Not only abiding in entering and rising, but also not abiding in abiding."

Therefore, it is said (in the scriptures) that liberation is attained. First, it is necessary to reverse the movement of the rising and falling air, and to have it remain within the body; then, it is also necessary for the remaining air to dissolve (into the body). If, by practicing the entering and exiting of air, the air does not flow, this is because one has fallen into a state of torpor, so there are also cases where the air does not flow, and it is necessary to distinguish between them. If the air from the nostrils reverses and the air remains inside but does not dissolve, then a feeling of fullness in the body may occur. When it dissolves, it becomes peaceful. As previously explained, definite signs of the air entering the central channel will appear. When the air naturally remains inside for a long time, if it dissolves, it dissolves into the central channel. Therefore, emptinesses will appear as described. If it is not like that, even if the air dissolves inside, it is not dissolving into the central channel, so the emptinesses will not appear as described. When the air dissolves into the indestructible bindu at the heart center, it is necessary for the knot of the channel there to loosen. Therefore, before that, by gathering the air into the heart center, and then dissolving it into the central channel, it is only dissolving into the central channel that is close to it, and not dissolving there. Similarly, even if the air enters the central channel, it is not able to freely move in and out of the central channel at the location of the channel knot. In the Vajra Garland it says, "Little by little, without effort." This means that one should not exert too much effort in the entering and exiting of the air. The Oral Instructions also say, "When making the air remain inside, hold it gently, gently." Therefore, for the three stages of rising, falling, and abiding of the air, performing Vajra recitation slowly, even if the cessation of air etc. is slightly delayed, the elements of the body will not be disturbed, and it will be very balanced. Therefore, the qualities that need to arise from striking the vital points of the body will arise differently from other ways of arising. Therefore, it is very powerful in leading to emptinesses, and once emptiness is led out, it is easier to gradually increase, and there is a great need for stability of bliss and warmth etc. Therefore, if various experiences such as bliss and warmth blazing arise, joy will arise, and seeing the necessity of being able to cultivate virtue etc., even if one takes up fierce methods of cultivation etc., one should do so until that necessity is fulfilled, and then it is better to do as the scriptures say. This is slightly more intense for the air practice of Vajra recitation, and for cultivating by focusing on bindus etc., but for meditating on the union of air,
