The distinctions of three, and the fragrance of taste, and the inexhaustible fragrance are the five aspects of the appearance of the Vajra Mother of Fragrance. The taste that is experienced by relying on the tongue as a helper in tasting flavors, if divided into the Vajra Mother of Taste, the sweet taste and, the astringent taste and, the salty taste and, the sour and spicy taste and, the bitter taste are the five aspects of the appearance of the Vajra Mother of Taste. The touch that is experienced by relying on the body as a helper in experiencing the touch, if divided into the Vajra Mother of Touch, the touch of residing on one seat and, the touch of embracing and, the touch of kissing and, the touch of sucking and, the touch of the union of two organs are the five types of the appearance of the Vajra Mother of Touch. Thus, each of the twenty is divided into five, and the way these deities appear is, for example, in the case of appearance, the number of faces and hands and the hand symbols are the same as the appearance, but they become five through the difference in body color, and others should also be understood by this. Then, the twenty of the thirty-two deities have been explained, so why are the remaining twelve not explained here? In the root tantra, it is clearly explained that the twenty deities from the form aggregate to the touch are meditated upon separately. The ten limbs and, the joints and, the channels are not clearly explained as being meditated upon as the ten wrathful deities and the two bodhisattvas, so this is done according to that, because when each of the four sections is completed, it is said that the meaning of this sutra of the root tantra is explained. The source of making hundreds of such types, and five from that, and three from that, is the Moon Secret Bindu quoted from the Practice Compendium: Symbolizing, and also from the later tantra it is said: That nature is divided into five, secrets are divided into three, the supreme deity is the great secret, the noble lineage is divided into a hundred. This statement also shows that meaning. The Explanatory Tantra Vajra Garland also speaks of a hundred lineages, and also in that tantra, in the section on the secluded body of the hidden explanation of the introduction, the ten limbs are explained as the ten wrathful deities, and in the places mentioned as the eye, earth, heart, etc., the two, Maitreya and Samantabhadra, are also taken out from the "etc.", and the thirty-two deities should be made complete, because it is said in other sections that the body is meditated upon as a deity, and each of the twenty deities can be divided into five types, and there is no difference that the twelve cannot be divided, and whether or not the secluded body is established is also the same. Therefore, there, as before, wrathful

If the twenty kinds of Śamatha bodies are combined with the Śamatha body, there will be concerns about exceeding one hundred families. Although the previous explanations covered the Dharma Treasury of Desire, the Dharma Treasury of Desire does not seem suitable, and it is unreasonable to interrupt the complete explanation of the thirty-two deities. Therefore, all of those should be classified as Śamatha bodies. One's own Śamatha body is accomplished from those twenty, and dividing it into one hundred parts reveals the deities of the five families. Thus, one's own body is said to be accomplished from the minute particles of all Tathāgatas. The term "minute particles" refers to dividing each part into one hundred parts and naming them as individual deities. Secondly, if those noble ones divided into one hundred families are also summarized, they themselves are summarized into five families. Here, the five families of the Śamatha body are the four elements of earth, etc., and the realm of consciousness, making five in total. Among them, the twenty from the Vairocana family of the form aggregate to the Vairocana family of the touchable Vajra Mother are summarized into the earth element. Similarly, the twenty of the Ratnasambhava family are summarized into water, the twenty of the Amitābha family into fire, the twenty of the Amoghasiddhi family into wind, and the twenty of the Akṣobhya family into the realm of consciousness. Here, in the *Compendium of Practices*, it is said that the form aggregate, etc., are produced from the elements. Except for the form aggregate produced from the four elements and the dharma-sphere, the form aggregate is the actual product of the elements, while the other four aggregates are merely dependent on the body of the four elements, and therefore are nominally called products of the elements. It would be good if the five realms that summarize the one hundred families were made into the five Tathāgata families. Thirdly, summarizing those five families also results in the three secret families, namely, the Ratnasambhava family is summarized within the body-vajra Vairocana family, the Amoghasiddhi family is summarized within the speech-vajra Amitābha family, and the sixth Vajradhara is summarized within the mind-vajra Akṣobhya family. Here, starting from the one hundred families up to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the five families, the *Compendium of Practices* states that they are summarized by one's own three doors of body, speech, and mind. Previously, when dividing into one hundred families, it was said that they were summarized by the tantras different from the practitioner, and that the two individuals, self and other, were not summarized by the tantras of either, referring more to the part of the outer world.
