It has the ability, just like the root and the object. Furthermore, in the Samgraha-caryā it is said that appearance enters the subtle realm and gradually moves. Because of this, it is said that (the Buddha) experiences the entire nature day and night. The great Brahmin also said: 'This, which is gathered by the mind, is blessed by the wind, it shakes, flutters, and becomes very unruly.' Therefore, (the Buddha) said that because the mind is blessed by the wind, the state of mind arises as very unruly. Although it is thought that all conceptual and non-conceptual minds fluttering towards objects are done by the wind, it is not thought that the meaning of placing the wind as the mount of consciousness is obtained by that alone. So, what is it like? If it is thought that consciousness is not a corporeal thing, therefore it does not have the ability to come and go to objects independently, but if it enters together with the wind, then it has the ability to go to objects. In the Samgraha-caryā it is said that the three appearances are separated from coming and going, so how do they expand and contract on the body day and night? The answer to the question of who combines this is: At the end of saying that these three appearances are formless, it is said: 'Although it is so, it has appearance, therefore it combines together with the wind element.' Its meaning is that although the three consciousnesses are not corporeal things, because it has the appearance of wind, it goes and comes like going and coming together with the wind without stopping. Therefore, going to an object through the wind means that the mind rides on the wind and goes, and for this, the mind has two situations: making the object flutter and not making the object flutter. Moreover, if the wind of one's own mount itself moves from front to back, even if no other object movement occurs, it is not that there is no object movement. In the Samgraha-caryā it is said: 'The subtle realm and the appearance of consciousness, etc., because they are formless, are mixed together like ghee put into ghee, and completely accomplish all the activities of the world and beyond the world.' The wind and mind that are said to be mixed together like ghee put into ghee, it is good to indicate with the hand that the two have the same essence. In the Samgraha-caryā it is said that saying that the wind is formless refers to the formlessness like the gross realm, not that there are no five rays of the subtle realm, because before that, feet and hands etc. were said to the external wind.

Just as it is said that for things without form, it is said that they are without form. It is also said that consciousness causes the body to move, etc., which is done together with the wind. If it is separated from the wind, it cannot move it. This can also be known from the commentary on the Four Hundred Verses. The fifth part is divided into two points: one is the way of whether or not to transfer from one nostril to another, and the other is the way of transferring from one pulse petal and mandala to another. The first point is: From the Kalachakra system, the six winds of earth, water, fire, wind, space, and wisdom wind run in order from the right side, and the six winds in reverse order from the left side run in order. From the earth on the right side to the space on the left side, etc., there are twelve transfers in order. At each interval of transfer, fifty-six and a quarter breaths flow from the central channel. Therefore, six hundred and seventy-five breaths flow from the central channel in one day. The remainder runs from the left and right channels. That is, the twenty-one thousand six hundred breaths in one day, divided by twelve, the share of each transfer is one thousand eight hundred breaths, which is said to be the wind of each transfer. If the flow from the central channel is calculated separately, it will not be so much. Breathing is counted as one for each exhalation and inhalation. The Vajra Garland and the Compendium of Arising are also the same. The Manne Tantra says: There is no separate wind of space running apart from the four elements. The Vajra Garland, Samvara Emptiness, and Two-Without-Two Victory all prove this. There is no separate space mandala running apart from the four elements. In each nostril, the winds of the five small elements run in four directions. The number of pulse petals in the throat and crown are reversed. And the four thousand pulses of the forty-four pulse petals of the navel chakra mentioned in the Kalachakra are convenient words spoken to tame sentient beings such as the sun chariot, not the ultimate meaning. Just as in order to cater to the desires of beings such as pigs, the arrangement of the sentient world of the three realms on the top of Mount Sumeru is explained. The Moonlight Commentary says: The Samvara Emptiness says twenty-four transfers, some say: After two transfers of wind have passed continuously in one nostril, it is transferred to another nostril. Therefore, the transfer of nostrils in one day is
