It does not seem good to explain that it should only be practiced at that time, and to change the terminology of the five stages of the base from what was said before. The meaning of arranging the five stages in one day is: Some Marpa people say that the wind entering and exiting in one day is Vajra recitation, the natural conceptualization dissolving into the heart is mind focus, sleep is clear light, dreams appearing is illusory body, and waking up is union. In general, this practice of making the instructions on sleep and dreams into the instructions of the Noble lineage, unless one knows how to explain it based on the Compendium of Practices, it is not clearly explained in any of the texts of the Noble lineage. In the Lamp Illuminating, a quote from the Compendium of Practices at that time was cited, but it was just a citation. If you do it according to its intention, the Vajra recitation is the same as before. From the beginning of sleep until the dream does not appear, the first three of the four emptinesses that appear are mind focus, and the fourth clear light is also called the sleep Dharmakaya. It is not just the appearance of dreams, but there is a special dream body, which is the stage of the illusory body, and is also called the dream Sambhogakaya. This can also represent the illusory bodies of the third and fifth stages. Then waking up is the Nirmanakaya, and for this, there is not only waking up, but a special way of waking up. The followers of the Five Fathers, the other Indians mentioned earlier, although they did not mention the five stages of birth, old age, sickness, and death, as well as the three basic bodies, and the five stages of one day, what appears in the oral instructions of Naropa is the view of the texts mentioned earlier, so it is necessary. If you can understand well how to establish the basis of the five stages in the base, then you will gain great certainty about the key points of the blending instructions, so it is explained here. The second is: In this way, since the two illusory bodies are cultivated only from wind and mind, just as the intermediate state is cultivated, therefore, the four emptinesses before that must also be cultivated like the four emptinesses at the time of death. Regarding that, the Vajramala Tantra says: When the winds completely subside, whoever truly knows that, knows the moment of death, truly gathers together mutually, dissolves like the order of birth. Just as the order of how it appears at the time of birth, at the time of death, it is from bottom to top.

It is said that it dissolves from (mother). Also, it says in it: The mind and life air with afflictions always move correctly. At the time of the first transference, it becomes like the shape of a fish. It is said that at the time of the first transference, the life-holding air is formed, and from this, the nine airs such as downward cleansing are gradually formed. The life air resides in the heart. It is said that the life-holder resides in the heart, therefore, at the time of death, all the airs and mind are gathered in the heart. The noble Asanga also said that the place where consciousness first enters in the center of the parents' sperm and blood is the heart, and then the body parts are formed, and finally at the time of death, consciousness comes out of the heart, which is consistent with this tantra. Sambhuta and others said that at the time of death, consciousness is transferred from the nine gates such as the eyes and ears, which is not contradictory, because the main part of the mind's support is the heart, so unless it comes out of the indestructible place in the heart, consciousness will not transfer from other gates, and those tantras also said that the transfer instructions at that time are to learn the yoga of taking consciousness out of the heart. Therefore, the five stages of the base should be done as they are. Meditate on the indestructible place in the heart, and with the heart as the target, do the vajra recitation for the three stages of air arising, entering, and dwelling. After that, the internal and external movement of air stops, and gradually dissolves into the heart, and after the four emptinesses arise from this, only the air and mind exist in the coarse body, and thus the very subtle illusory body is achieved, and the Sambhogakaya is achieved after the meaning of clear light, and the illusory body is achieved after the example of clear light. The Sambhogakaya cannot be seen by ordinary eyes, therefore, when it holds the body of the coarse aggregates, it will also become the object of the flesh eye, which is the Nirmanakaya. In this way, according to the tradition of the noble (Nagarjuna), the key point of the body is the center of the heart chakra, so take this as the meaning of the key point. The ultimate skillful means of transforming the continuum of birth, death, and bardo of the base period into death as Dharmakaya, bardo as Sambhogakaya, and birth as Nirmanakaya, and that method is also inherent in sentient beings.
