, and in some places, where the way of realizing emptiness is clear but the aspect of bliss is not so clear, both bliss and emptiness should be combined as the main point, and one should not be mistaken about them separately. Although the talk of the inseparability of bliss and emptiness is as famous as the wind, the "great bliss" that distinguishes the differences of bliss, and the "ultimate emptiness" that distinguishes the differences of emptiness, and knowing how to combine them, are extremely rare. Considering this, Saraha said, "In every house they speak of it, but no one fully knows the abode of great bliss." Therefore, one should not be easily satisfied with just a little, but should strive for a long time to realize this meaning, which is even more secret than secrets. The second part has two points: the actual meaning and the reason why it must be explained in this way. The first point is: If, as previously stated, the emptiness and compassion of the inseparability of bliss and emptiness are the meaning of E-vam (ཨེ་ཝཾ, Devanagari: एवं, Romanized Sanskrit: evaṃ, literal meaning: thus), then how can the emptiness and compassion of the two truths that are inseparable, the mind of enlightenment, be explained as the meaning of E-vam (ཨེ་ཝཾ, Devanagari: एवं, Romanized Sanskrit: evaṃ, literal meaning: thus)? Regarding the inseparability of bliss and emptiness mentioned earlier, many explanations in the Yoga Tantras say "union of bliss and emptiness" and "union of two truths," and although there are also explanations of the meaning of union in the Arya tradition, the tradition of Nagarjuna does not consider the co-emergent inseparability of bliss and emptiness, which is the meaning mentioned earlier, as merely union. In this regard, the Uttaratantra says, "Without beginning or end, peaceful, existent and non-existent, inexhaustible lord, emptiness and compassion inseparable, is called the mind of enlightenment." Here, we will discuss the union of the mind of enlightenment, which has two aspects as mentioned earlier. Among them, emptiness is indicated by "non-existent," and compassion is indicated by "existent." These two are also called skillful means and wisdom. The same scripture says, "That which is non-existent is wisdom, skillful means is the characteristic of existence." This was said in the context of explaining that the equal combination of skillful means and wisdom is the meaning of yoga. In the sixth of the six limbs of union, the meaning of the equal combination of skillful means and wisdom is explained. In the Lamp Illuminating, it is said that skillful means is the conventional truth, and wisdom is the ultimate truth, and the combination of the two is union.
