From there it says, the very nature of the mind that is completely inquired about as the realm of the Buddhas is: without root, without place, without basis, without characteristics, without shape and color, beyond the senses, and not the realm of reasoners. Thus, the Bhagavan said from the words that explain all the tantras. Thus it is said, the very nature of the mind that is asked about how to train in mind isolation is a meaning common to the Paramita Vehicle, not mind isolation. In the Sixty Stanza Reasoning it also says: There is no place, there is no object. Without root and without place. It arises greatly from the cause of ignorance. Completely separated from beginning, middle, and end. Like a water tree, there is no essence. It is like a Gandharva city. The city of delusion is unbearable. Beings appear like illusions. Thus it is said. In its commentary it says: Place is the six sense bases such as the eye, and object is all dharmas, and root is the cause as the condition in the manner of earth meaning, because it is dependent origination, it is not self-existent, it is said like an illusion. Without basis is without object. The third is, in the Compendium of Conduct it says: Without entering the great yoga tantra of gathering and so on, even with all the kalpas equal to the number of grains of sand in the Ganges River, one cannot know the true suchness of one's own mind, and one will not see the conventional truth. Thus it is said. Therefore, it has already been said that unless one enters the Unsurpassed Yoga, the view of the ground will not be determined. Even if it is determined, it will not be manifested by meditating on it, because no one with authority has said that the Paramita Vehicle cannot attain the noble ground. If that is attained, it is contradictory not to directly realize the nature of reality. The ultimate nature of mind is not spoken of with the Dharmakaya in mind, because the time of mind isolation is the time to discern the realization of the true meaning of mind, because it is also known from saying that one cannot see the conventional truth. Therefore, the main object of realizing the true nature of mind is co-emergent bliss, and that wisdom realizing that object is un-
