The extent of *nā* (wind yoga) is: to draw in the wind of the external three thousand worlds through the pores, making it contained within the body; to exhale all the internal wind, filling the three thousand worlds, being able to mix the internal and external; merely the touch of the external wind will produce both happiness and a light touch. The extent to which the training of the wind of the limbs is perfected is: being able to transfer the awareness of each sense to its respective door; being able to restrain without harm, that is, when the four winds of wind, fire, earth, and water are moving, if they are restrained internally without being released externally, then one will be able to fly in the sky without harm in sequence; there will be no harm from external cold; harm from giants and the like will not be able to move one; one will become free from harm from fire and the like, this is said to be the way of those with clairvoyance. Secondly, as previously explained, when the recitation is done by combining wind and mantra inseparably, in the mind, the sounds of the wind will appear as three letters, and this is not merely a mental inclination, but a strong experience that transforms the mind will arise. For example, in the generation stage, one first imagines oneself as the deity, and after becoming accustomed to the meditation, one will naturally transform into the pride of the deity without having to deliberately fabricate it. When it goes like that, one will be able to cut off both the appearance and the attachment that wind and mantra are different. Moreover, by doing the recitation of the three states of coming, abiding, and going from the center of the central channel (Sanskrit: dhūtī), one will be able to move from the central channel by the key point of wind and mind entering the same place. For this, one must also first deliberately fabricate and do the coming and going there. When one becomes accustomed to it, due to the vajra recitation, the wind entering there will be a characteristic sign. The sign of that is: when the vajra recitation is not done, the breath flows through the right and left nostrils alternately, but when the vajra recitation is done, it will not take long for the breath to definitely tend to flow equally, that is the sign of the wind entering there. This should also be understood for meditating on the lower gate and the subtle points of the heart. Like that, even if one is only able to insert the wind into the central channel, but it does not stay for a long time and alternates between the right and left, that is a fault of insufficient habituation. Like that, after entering and doing the coming and going from within it, after becoming accustomed to it as previously explained, gradually, the knot of the heart channel will gradually loosen.

Having gone there, one can eventually untie the knot of the channels. If, relying on the essential point of the heart, the vajra recitation within the channels can cause the wind to enter the channels and the knot of the channels to loosen, but the vajra recitation cannot stop the wind from stagnating in the channels, because the vajra recitation does not prevent the wind from moving in and out, but leaves it as it is. Therefore, if there is nothing to inhale and hold the wind, preventing exhalation and entry, then one might think that vajra recitation cannot cause the wind to dissolve into the channels. Such doubts arise from being satisfied with only one aspect of the completion stage, not understanding how winds are gathered by the yoga of bindus, etc., as explained in the generally valid scriptures, and especially for those who do not know the sections that focus on vajra recitation and include explanations of all its essential points. However, there is no fault in this, because as mentioned earlier, if one becomes accustomed to vajra recitation that balances entry, abiding, and rising, then at some point, even without intentionally abiding, a state of wind abiding will naturally occur. Moreover, this will go on for a long time, and at that time, even if one does not intentionally stop inhaling and exhaling, the breath will become shorter and shorter. Therefore, initially, when practicing, it is not necessary to intentionally make the abiding longer than the natural state of rising and entry. Then, by striving again in vajra recitation, the wind will completely stop flowing in and out and will abide within. As it says in the Gongpa Lungten: By symbols, the three abide, the characteristic of self-nature recitation. Nameless, unspeakable, this is the supreme bodhicitta. The three, that nature, become one, there is no going and no coming. This means that after reciting on the bodhicitta, which is the inseparable union of the nature of wind-mantra and reality, which is unspeakable in the nature of name and word, the three, entry, abiding, and rising, disappear and become one taste, and at that time it is said that the wind neither flows out nor comes in. In that tantra it says: Bodhicitta transforms into wind. Therefore, bodhicitta here refers to wind. In that tantra it is said that the three realities of the wind of entry, abiding, and rising become one taste, and the meaning of the others (tantras) is also the same. Vajra Garland.
