It is said that in the navel, there resides the letter "A" which is half white and half black. Another saying is that within the half white and half black bindu, there exists something like an "asha." Yet another saying suggests contemplating a white bindu tinged with a reddish hue. Regarding the union of red and white bindus, the great adept Kukkuripa said, "Meditate on its (the bindu's) center, like the sun and moon bindus superimposed, its shape resembling the union of a gau box. The sun is method, and the moon is wisdom." This aligns with the explanation of the bindu as the support for Vajra recitation. However, here, a letter is used in place of the center of the bindu. Oral instructions state that it is white with a slight redness. It is said that the intermediate state consciousness enters the center of the parents' sperm and blood in the womb, and that this is located in the heart. This is also said to be the support of the mind. Practicing according to these two methods has essential points for training. The size of the bindu is said to be about the size of a mustard seed. If the mind is focused on a subtle object, it becomes easier to cut off conceptual thoughts and gather the winds. Regarding the letter, the Vajra Garland states that the letter in the center of the heart can be either "A" (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, IAST: a, Literal meaning: A) or "Hūṃ" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, IAST: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ). The Compendium of Practices states that contemplating the letter "A" is a symbol of indestructibility. There, it does not form the shape of a letter, so it is not definite. But here, one can meditate on either "A" or "Hūṃ." The color should be dark blue, or the Sutra of Gatherings also says that the letter "Hūṃ" is white. This is the indestructible wind, and the red and white bindus are symbols of indestructible bodhicitta. The five-colored jewel light at this time is the burning of five lights, and this can be applied to both the letter and the bindu. Another explanation is to apply it to the bindu above the letter that resides on the hand symbol, but here, it should be done as before. In this way, regarding the indestructible nature of the heart, one should avoid the faults of the mind being too tight and too loose, and thus hold the mind. This is even more praised than the dissolving bindu, because "It clearly shows the form of the indestructible bindu, about the size of a mustard seed, with the appearance of five-colored rays burning and dripping, constantly residing in the heart center. Looking at it increases wisdom, and in an instant, yoga is accomplished, without a doubt." Other tantras also praise it, and the Manifestation of the Lama says, "The one bindu that always resides in the heart."

It is said that wisdom will surely arise in the person who meditates on that which is immutable. In the Kalacakra Tantra, it says, "The mind with sound and bindu, should be placed in the heart, and from there, the Lord, the Bhagavan, will arise, destroying the darkness of ignorance." It is said that by meditating on the indestructible bindu in the heart, the innate wisdom that cuts off ignorance at its root will arise. Also, in the Compendium of Practices, it says, "The wind born from the lotus of the heart, is like the white syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). What is the samadhi to be contemplated? It is not bound by objects, etc. The wind that goes above in samsara, goes below in nirvana. Nirvana does not abide, it abides in the stamen of the lotus of the heart." It is said that if one can gather and restrain the winds in the center of the heart chakra with special methods such as those mentioned earlier, and make them stable, then one will not be bound by the conceptual thoughts that enter into objects such as forms and sounds, and one will be given the state of nirvana that does not abide in the extremes of existence and peace. Also, as mentioned earlier, it is said that the twelve winds of grasping and being grasped arise from the heart. Therefore, if one makes the effort to strike the vital point of the body that holds the mind there, then by the key point that those winds gather and dissolve there, it will be easy to cut off the conceptual thoughts of grasping and being grasped. In such a way, one should generate great certainty in the praises of the tantras and the treatises of the great siddhas, and one should strive to meditate on the indestructible mantra bindu life force at the tip of the nose of the heart. The second is: In the Condensed Five Stages, it says, "Various memories and conceptual thoughts, arise truly from the mind, therefore, the support for the gathering of consciousness and life force, meditate on the mantra wheel in the heart." It is said that various conceptual thoughts arise from the mind, and the place where the two winds and minds gather is the heart. Therefore, meditate on the mantra wheel that strikes the vital point in the heart. The wheel of mantra syllables is: First, an eight-petaled lotus, in the manner of outer, inner, and secret, contemplate with order. It is said that one should meditate on an eight-petaled lotus with three levels in the heart. The outer level is marked with the vowels of wisdom, the middle level is the clear consonants with means, and the non-dual abides in the inner level.
