The syllable Hūṃ (藏文,ཧཾ,梵文天城体,haṃ,梵文罗马拟音,haṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) is mostly about manifestation. The letters on its petals are mostly vowels. That is, the vowels represent white bodhicitta, and the consonants represent red bodhicitta. It is best if one can focus on the petals' letters on the bindu. Even if one cannot, one should focus on the four letters in the center of the four chakras, about the size of a medium mustard seed. If one can find a little bit of stability, that is excellent. Meditate repeatedly until the letters appear clearly. It is said that one can then shift the focus. If one finds it, one should shift the focus to the bindu. Meditating on the subtle letters is for the purpose of finding the support for focusing on the bindu. When one can focus on the bindu, one should do the following: First, clearly visualize the previous objects of focus in order. Then, from the fire pit of the navel chakra, due to the movement of the karma wind, fire is ignited from the syllable Oṃ (藏文,ཨོཾ,梵文天城体,oṃ,梵文罗马拟音,oṃ,汉语字面意思:Oṃ) in the navel chakra, and rises upward through the central channel to the crown chakra. The light of the fire melts the letters on the petals of the crown chakra, gathers in the center of the chakra, and the syllable Hūṃ (藏文,ཧཾ,梵文天城体,haṃ,梵文罗马拟音,haṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) melts into a bindu, which then gradually descends to the throat. Its light melts the letters of the throat chakra and dissolves into that bindu. The bindu then descends from the throat to the heart. Its light melts the letters of the heart chakra and dissolves into that bindu. Then it descends from the heart to the navel chakra, and its light melts the letters of the navel chakra, visualizing them dissolving into that bindu. When focusing, one should first generate the conviction that the bindu is the union of mind, bindu, and wind. And one should think that it is the nature of bliss and emptiness inseparable, and then focus on the bindu, which appears with white and red radiance, about the size of a medium mustard seed, within the knot of the navel chakra. Once one can grasp the object of focus, one should only focus on the size of a medium mustard seed, and not focus on anything larger or smaller. If one cannot grasp the subtle object of focus, one should focus on what one can. When the subtle object of focus appears and one can focus on it slightly, one should add this object of focus and meditate. That is, one should generate the conviction that one's own mind dissolves into that subtle bindu, and then focus on that bindu. By meditating in this way, between one's own mind and the bindu, subtle dualistic appearance

When the experience of merging into the bindu arises without any absence, the necessity of focusing on the bindu is accomplished, therefore this is the key point of meditation. Furthermore, even if the mind does not experience merging into the bindu by meditating on the previous visualizations, after meditating on the previous visualizations, for about two-thirds or half of the time of focusing the mind on the bindu, meditate on the wind like each session. The method of meditation is: gather the winds of your own left and right sides, and above and below, at the triple junction below the navel, and as soon as they are gathered, visualize those winds disappearing as soon as they enter the central channel, like breathing on a mirror, repeatedly perform this visualization. The necessity of meditating in this way is: to connect the channels, and to prevent obstacles that depend on the wind from arising. When in meditative equipoise, these winds that flow in the nostrils will stop flowing. The way they stop flowing is: first, when in meditative equipoise, for the duration of two or three breaths, they will not flow in the nostrils. Then, as the habit becomes greater and greater, the area where the wind does not flow will become longer and longer, until finally only a little bit of nasal warmth will not flow in the nostrils. Moreover, when the wind stops at first, one will feel the wind in the nostrils flowing backwards, and the wind filling the abdomen. Then, the feeling of the abdomen being full disappears, and the wind flowing in the nostrils is not the real way the wind stops. If the wind in the abdomen disappears like breathing on a mirror, and the wind does not flow from the nostrils, then the wind has entered the central channel. Moreover, that wind is also the downward-clearing wind among the five root winds. Among them, there are new and old ones, the old ones will disappear, therefore they will not enter the central channel. The reversal of the wind flowing from the nostrils and the opening of the central channel below the navel occur simultaneously. When the channel opens, a clear downward-clearing wind arises from within, which ignites the fire of the navel, and that fire melts the bodhicitta of the crown of the head. The shape of that wind is like the shape of a bow. Although many explanations have been given about the channels, winds, and bindus, in the end it all comes down to the power of meditation, which reverses the wind flowing in the nostrils above. Immediately afterwards, the central channel below the navel opens, and a clear wind arises from within it, the channel
