Now, the illusory body, three small texts each, that is, eleven texts. Two texts on mixing and transferring. Two texts on redemption and dispelling obstacles. Three kinds of excellent distinctions. Hand seals and life force, that is, seventeen texts. On top of that, add three clarifying texts, making twenty. Relying on the mother tantra's completion stage tummo, the small texts on the key points of drawing the four joys, etc., thus there are twenty-one. The mother tantra or the completion stage's small texts are summarized in the three clarifying texts, as the preliminary of the completion stage. The small text on the body's actions and bonds. Redemption and dispelling obstacles are summarized in dispelling obstacles. Dispelling obstacles of wind. Dispelling obstacles of bindu, divided into two, also making twenty-one. The small texts of the body mandala, etc., some necessities of the generation stage are: First, the general understanding of the generation stage is like this. Among them are the methods of contemplating emptiness. The method of establishing pride in the Dharmakaya. The method of visualizing the deity's body from emptiness. And the method of establishing pride in the deity, these four. The first is: Without making elaborate reasoning like the view guidance, but relying on any kind of sign, thereby determining emptiness. It is necessary to generate strong force. If the strength of clinging becomes small, then rely on subtle examination to generate strong force of wisdom. The meaning of the words and the common meaning of things not existing, etc., remembering them is extremely important. The second is: The object emptiness and the subject wisdom are two. Even with subtle dualistic appearance, offering in between, like water placed in water, the intention of becoming one, wholeheartedly engage in it. Know that this kind of intention, the mind-made Dharmakaya, at the time of the completion stage, also becomes the cause of the ripening of the roots of virtue for the arising of the realization of the Dharmakaya. The third is: The meaning of from emptiness is: It is necessary to arise as the deity's body from the state where the above-mentioned object has not disappeared. For example: When a very clear crystal ball is close to cloths of various colors, in the state where the clarity of the crystal ball has not disappeared, the various shapes of the cloth appear in the crystal ball. One's own mind, even subtle dualistic appearance has been offered to emptiness, in the state where the strong clinging of thinking it has become one has not disappeared. One must visualize oneself as the deity's body with three faces and six arms. The fourth key point is:

Apart from striving not to be controlled by dullness and agitation, during the meditation session, do not repeatedly think about whether you are controlled by dullness and agitation, and do not engage in excessive analysis based on signs. By doing so, the mind will not wander elsewhere, and at this time, you should practice tranquility. Even if you do a little intellectual analysis, it should be on the face, hands, ornaments, etc., of the deity. In the firm vow and strong conviction that all phenomena are empty of inherent existence, visualizing the deity is necessary as a combination of the two, just like practicing the inseparability of emptiness and clarity. The meaning of inseparability is that the essence is without difference. Dullness and lethargy are two different mental factors. Lethargy is a mental factor belonging to the category of ignorance and is uncontrollable. Dullness refers to an unclear grasping of the object, and merely gaining clarity is not enough. Agitation is a mental factor belonging to the category of desire, which causes the mind to be distracted and chase after pleasant objects, etc. Distraction refers to the mind being distracted to objects other than the object of focus, and the latter two are also different. Mindfulness is characterized by the mind not being distracted and focusing single-pointedly on the object. Awareness is the mental factor that recognizes dullness or agitation as soon as it arises in the object. When gathering the body in the subsequent visualization, the rays of light from the blue ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable in your heart, in the form of an iron hook, radiate simultaneously from all parts of the body, front and back, inviting all the deities from Vairochana to the Injurious Mother, and visualizing them as being inseparable in essence from the various parts of the body, such as the senses. When gathering the light in the subsequent visualization, you must strongly visualize that everything from Vairochana to the main deity merges into the essence of bliss and emptiness, without even the slightest gap of dualistic appearance. Then, in the stage of emptiness, do not engage in intellectual analysis, but rather in a state where whatever appears rests in the Dharmakaya. On the central channel there, from the ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable, generate the mandala of the sun, etc. In the center of the five-pronged vajra, from bottom to top are the white ཨོཾ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), the red ཨཱཿ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), and the blue ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum). From that, for the first protector
