It is about the wind. Thus, know that the place where the winds that generate verbal expression enter is the indestructible. As it says in the Compendium of Conduct, "When showing the suchness of wind, the ten winds attain the indestructible and then become non-existent." And it also says, "When showing the function of the three syllables, it is also like that, in the state of abiding in the body, after everything is done, finally entering the indestructible." If you know this, you also know why it enters, because it is said that after entering the indestructible, it becomes non-existent, and non-existent is luminosity, so it enters in order to manifest luminosity. If you know this, you also know the order of entry of how it enters, because it is said that it enters into luminosity through the order of dissolution of earth dissolving into water, etc. The gatherer that gathers the winds and all conceptualizations into the indestructible bindu through that order is the Vajra recitation, so knowing the key point mentioned in the root of the short A mantra. Know that this is said to be the supreme place revered by all beings. The meaning of the answer to the question "All the short ones become speech" is that the suchness of wind is the three of rising, entering, and abiding, and the suchness of mantra is the three syllables, and when combining, from the suchness of sound, those who explain reciting after knowing emptiness like space, have not realized the ultimate of the suchness of mantra, which is the meaning mentioned in the root of the short A mantra. As it says in the Subsequent Tantra, "After thinking in the heart, the life breath abides as a bindu." The explanation of this in the Lamp of Clarity is, "Think of the short A in the lotus of the heart and make it belong to the indestructible bindu." And as it says in the Vajra Garland, "The material bindu is comprehended, there are two bindus, mantra and wind, the bindu of mantra is supreme, the two bindus are light and matter." Thus, among the two bindus of wind and mantra contained in the material bindu, the bindu of mantra is said to be supreme, and these are also intention, scriptural proof, and consistent intention. So, if the explanation of the short A of the metaphor that symbolizes "the first one" etc. is as before, then if explaining the short A of the meaning that is symbolized, how should it be? The first refers to the first arising of the formation of the body. One is the co-emergent subtle life-sustaining.

are wind and mind. Nine are the remaining four root winds and five branch winds. The phrase "in the middle of them" means residing at the root of all of them. "Not bound by ten" means that the coarse life-sustaining wind and the ten do not exercise power over it. The vowels and consonants are winds and natures. "Following after them" and "those bound by A" mean residing at the root of those, as stated in the Sutra of Intentions: As long as the world exists with bonds, Similarly, various bonds exist, Various discriminations of bodhicitta, Constantly arise from the wind, Suffering and other phenomena, Are said to be like seeds. So it is said. The second is four: collecting mantras, the meaning of mantras, the symbols of mantras, the suchness of mantras. The first is: the end of arising is the letter Ha, the end of both the arising and heat categories is called the end of arising, which refers to the invisible. Parts, etc., are A. It is better for Chak to translate this as "the beginning of the part," because the Sanskrit word for "etc." also refers to the beginning, and because this is the collection of the first vowel. Therefore, Cha is a vowel, and it is translated as "its beginning," so Lakshmi explains Cha, etc., as A. The sixteenth is the last vowel A with a strong accent. Combining the two results in Āḥ, a long vowel with a strong accent. The fifth five refers to the twenty-five letters from Ka to Ma, the last of which is Ma. After the letter Ma, add a nasal sound and then combine it with the letter Ha. Four is three means four times three equals twelve, and the meaning of "must be combined" is together, so with whom are the twelve together? It is the thirteenth vowel O. That also means "with the letter Am," it should have a bindu. Regarding this, it is good that Chak translates it as "followed by vowels," so the letter O is followed by a nasal sound, which is Om. The long sound is the long vowel U, and when it is combined with the letter Ha, it is Hum. After collecting in this way, explaining the near collection is qualities, etc. The three qualities of courage, dust, and darkness are three letters, as it is said that courage is the body, dust is speech, and darkness is the mind. Combination refers to the connection of the three. "Same as after" means that the three should be done as after. Its order is this, i.e., ཡ
