Now is the master. Moreover, from the chief of the collection, it will become the name of the place. Because it is said like that. The basis for dividing into seventy-two is twenty-four, and the reason for dividing into seventy-two is because it is said to be divided by dividing into three: dissolution, enjoyment, and mastery. Therefore, the mantras of body, speech, and mind, saying "three divisions" is the reason for dividing eight into twenty-four, not the reason for dividing twenty-four into two. The two meanings of the chief, each divided into thousands of retinues, these twenty-four thousand are divided into three groups. Moreover, it is also said that twenty-four of blood flow and twenty-four of wind flow. As it says in that very text: Twenty-four thousand, the veins are always wonderful, the bodhicitta flows, all happiness increases greatly. The vein that is always wonderful, twenty-four thousand, know that blood flows, possessing the nature of sunlight. The vein that is always wonderful, twenty-four thousand, know that wind moves. It is said like this. It is also said like that by the difference of the flow of wind, bile, and phlegm. In the Samputa it says: Courage is the body, speech with dust, from the nature of the dark mind, courage is the essence, precious dust, which is the very cause of darkness. It is said that the essence flowing from the three veins, courage is the body, dust is the speech, and darkness is the mind. Here, it is said that the wind flows, also because the chief is the arising of the mind, so the reason for dividing each of the eight veins by the three of body, speech, and mind is like that. Dissolution is when the bodhicitta or the two winds now enter there. Enjoyment is when those two are enjoying in that vein as if watching. Mastery is also the exercise of power, it is that those two have already exercised power in that vein. In that tantra it says: Within the heart of the body, the five veins abide in various ways, by the difference of body, speech, and mind, it is said to be nearly twenty-four. It is said like this. In its commentary, ManNye, it says: Together with Avadhuti, the five veins are the first, after that is three, and then it is said to be twenty-four. In the stage of the fetus, the five veins of the heart arise first, after that the three that are born, it is said like that.

It is said that, like saying "it is you," the five channels of the heart are first born simultaneously in the womb. Then, when three are born, eight channels are formed. After that, it is said that twenty-four channels are formed. Regarding that meaning, some scholars think that it is unreasonable for the central channel and the three revolving channels, etc., five channels, that is, six channels, to be formed simultaneously in the womb at first. Because it is said that the five channels together with the Avadhuti (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) are first born, it is said that the five channels are together with the central channel, but not that the six channels are together with it. Moreover, it is said that the five channels of the heart are first born. Furthermore, it is also unreasonable to establish eight channels by producing three channels after that, because there are only two channels after the eight channels have formed six channels. Moreover, it is said in the Samutpāda that the quiescent channel and the central channel are the basis of all other channels, so it is unreasonable for the quiescent channel to be born later. It is also said in the Vajramālā Tantra: "By the combination of those three spreading, it gradually becomes eight parts." Thus, it is said that all eight petals of the heart channel are separated from the three channels. Therefore, it is unreasonable to say that the quiescent channel is formed after the five channels of the three revolving channels, the desire channel, the house channel, the fierce channel, and the demon-free channel are formed. Therefore, the quiescent channel, the central channel, the three channels, and the three revolving channels and the five desire channels are formed simultaneously, and then the three house channels, etc., are formed, which is the view of Manngye. In this way, after the four channels in the direction of the heart, the three revolving channels, etc., are formed, each of them separates a marginal channel petal, so it becomes eight parts of the channel, as it is said, "It gradually becomes eight parts." Although the two channels of the three revolving channels and the desire channels are formed simultaneously with the three channels, it is not contradictory that they are separated from those three channels. The demon-free channel rises from the navel and reaches the tip of the tongue. Moreover, it also exists relying on the Avadhuti (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), as it is said in the commentary on Manngye and the Samutpāda. It is clear that it is separated from the central channel from the throat. It is said that eight channels are formed in the heart, which are the quiescent channel, the central channel, the three channels, the four petals of the three revolving channels, etc., the demon-free channel, and the eight parts are eight channels. The eight parts of the channel mentioned in the heart are the eight petal channels on the edge of the heart, so they are not the same. The main channels are the three channels, which spread upward and downward from the center of the body, and the two channels of the quiescent channel embrace the central channel.
