If the two words "all aspects" are applied to the union of learning, it should be understood that it arises immediately after obtaining the clear light of the union body adorned with marks and signs. If applied to the union of no learning, then after obtaining the ultimate clear light, one will become omniscient, possessing the ultimate marks and signs, and endowed with the best of all aspects. The four "past" etc. should also be applied according to the attainment of clear light, seeing the three times gradually or simultaneously, and according to the two cases of learning and no learning respectively. The third question is: Then, in which tantra are these, such as the suchness of wind, etc., present? Answer: In the root tantra, which is endowed with perfect glory and contains the three secrets of body, speech, and mind, these, such as the suchness of wind, etc., are present, so it should be known from the Compendium. One might think, is there a clear explanation in that tantra? Answer: There is no clear explanation, because it exists in an expanded way, that is, in a hidden way. This shows that the ultimate instruction, that is, the five stages or the yoga of six limbs, exists in the root tantra of the Compendium. The fourth question is: Even if it exists in the root tantra of the Compendium, but since it is expanded and very unclear, then by what method should it be understood? Answer: It should be understood from the mouth of a qualified lama. The way to understand from the mouth is: following the four tantras that explain the tantra, such as the Vajra Garland, etc., it is understood from the lama's teaching. This does not mean that the ultimate instructions are not written in the tantra, but exist as the lama's oral instructions. Because it is said that those contents that exist unclearly in the root tantra are clearly explained by the explanatory tantra. Therefore, this shows that it exists in the two tantras themselves. Even so, if there is no lama who can combine the root and explanatory tantras and explain them without error, it cannot be understood, so the lama's explanation is necessary. Therefore, even if the tantra is completely explained, to say that one still cannot understand the ultimate key points of the instruction and needs to look for them separately is a contradictory statement. If even after completely understanding the discourse of the tantra, one still needs to look for the ultimate instruction elsewhere, then that instruction does not exist in that tantra. If one does not want this, then it is not appropriate to say that the discourse of the tantra has not yet been completely explained. Therefore, the key points of the in

Now, for those ultimate instructions, if it is necessary to consult the side notes that exist in the great treatises such as the tantras, it is best to illuminate them with the oral instructions of the guru. In the explanatory tantra, the Vajra Garland, the eighty-two questions that Vajrapani asked Vajradhara were mainly to dispel the uncertainty about what was said in the Guhyasamaja only in an obscure way. As it says in that very text: "The realization of the Vajra Garland, please allow me to inquire a little. Through the yoga of the completion stage, please show it to me. In the glorious Guhyasamaja, only in an obscure way, in the Anuttarayoga Tantra, the Great Hero proclaimed eighty-four thousand aggregates of dharma. Having said that, he sat in front." The commentary explains that this Vajra Garland is to inquire about the glorious Guhyasamaja of Anuttarayoga, which contains the essence of the eighty-four thousand aggregates of dharma. Since the explanatory tantra is very clear, know that these are the self-commentaries of the root tantra made by the Bhagavan himself, so they are the best of commentaries. In the Lamp Illuminating, it is also said: "The glorious King of Tantras, the Yoga Tantra, clearly distinguishes and explains well, bound by the bonds of the six edges, becomes the land of the prince, is the gathering place of the Buddhas. All the Buddhas expand with the position of the two stages, that is what Nagarjuna obtained." Therefore, not only did the Buddhas clearly explain with the explanatory tantra, but also like the noble Nagarjuna, combining the root tantra and the explanatory tantra, they also explained well. If one seeks the ultimate instructions that are not grasped from the five stages and so on, separately seeking the root, that only shows one's own shallow wisdom. Therefore, relying on a supreme guru, understanding the meaning of those treatises for a long time, wouldn't that be good? Thinking like this, striving for hearing, thinking, and meditating on the vast means of accumulation and purification, so that the treatises of the commentary of the great chariot of the tantras will surely appear as the best of instructions. Second, there are two: the suchness of wind and the suchness of mantra. First, there are two: the way it is said in the root tantra, and the way it is shown by the explanatory tantra. The first is: in order to explain the five stages, that is,
