If one wonders how this happened, some Indians initially thought this way, but later it must be done. As the Tantra says, "At that time, it merges into its own place." This is like what was said before, the intermediate state merges. Therefore, it has been said that consciousness and so on arise from there. Although it is roughly said that consciousness arises from the clear light after the death of the intermediate state, if analyzed carefully, the three consciousnesses of near attainment, luminosity, and increase must arise sequentially from there. Because the order of arising at the beginning is now said to be merging. At the time of the merging sequence, it is said that wind and mind, then mental events, and then merge into ignorance. Therefore, the three, mind, intellect, and consciousness, are spoken of. The three, luminosity, increase, and attainment, are said to be the three, mind, intellect, and consciousness, which are the root of all pure dharmas. Moreover, since intellect is consciousness, it is clear that the Alaya-consciousness is not acknowledged. The meaning of consciousness arising from wind is that consciousness rides on the wind. Whenever there are three luminosities, there must also be a wind mixed with it, so it is a wind different from it. Although Alamkara spoke of the five root winds, it is unreasonable because it is said that in the first transference of consciousness, no other life-sustaining wind is produced. So what is it? It is the mount of consciousness that can naturally move. From there, "no" and so on, it is unreasonable to show that the three realms arise later. Because even in the initial blurry state, there are four components of hardness, warmth, wetness, and movement that have existed since the time of the Bhava-agra. If one thinks so, although it is true, there is no fault because it is the order of arising of wind, fire, water, and earth with the special ability to be the support of consciousness, and not just the four elements. At the time of the merging sequence, the key points can be understood by explaining that earth merges into water, etc. Other scriptures also say that name and form arise from the cause of consciousness, and name and form, like a spear and a sheath, are said to be mutually dependent. The Tantra Vajramala also says, "The hard realm and the nature of water, likewise fire and wind, having been taken by consciousness, will arise in the three realms." It is said that the meaning of consciousness taking is taking as its support. Thus, from obtaining the special ability of wind as the support of mind, water.

The special ability of mind to act as a support should be combined with earth and so on. Thus, the four elements arise as a special ability of mind to act as a support, and from this arises the state of the five aggregates that are mutually dependent. They are indicated in the plural, hence the arising of the five aggregates. The commentary says that "therefore" means "from this." In the Great Seal Bindu, it is also said "from this" like the Wisdom Vajra. From this, the six internal sense bases arise, just as it is said in the scriptures that the six sense bases arise due to the condition of name and form. The statement that the five objects arise refers to what is gathered by the continuum of that sentient being. The statement that all of this is a combination of wind and mind refers to the aggregates and so on that are gathered by the consciousness continuum, some of which are a combination of wind and mind, and some of which are a transformation of the combination of wind and mind. Based on the appearance being stirred by the mount of wind, thoughts of inherent nature arise. This continuum and the Great Seal Bindu both speak of one hundred and eight, which are what is described in the third chapter of the Vajra Garland. In the Oral Instruction Ear of Corn, the translation "a hundred in order of sixty or more" is a mistake due to the incorrect Sanskrit version. "Order" is only indicative, and the commentary says that sometimes they arise simultaneously. The way in which one hundred and eight thoughts of inherent nature arise from the establishment of the six internal sense bases is as follows: The Vajra Garland Tantra says: "The objects and faculties are truly joined, and the channels also appear and arise. From the east, proceeding as before, the order of arising is unsurpassed. Because of that arising of all thoughts, the order increases by a hundred and eight. From that arise birth and old age, sickness and death, and again they turn back." This means that in connection with the self-condition and the object-condition, and in combination with attention and wind, the channels awaken and all thoughts arise, and the actions that arise from that cause birth, old age, and so on in samsara, and again they turn back, that is, they grasp existence in another birth. In the Five Stages it is also said: "The mind has three aspects, I shall explain its accomplishment. The winds, with subtle form, having truly mingled with consciousness, arising from the path of the faculties, then focus on the objects. When it is combined with appearance
