第一点是:在《金刚鬘续》第六品中说:“以咒之自性而解开,瑜伽士解开脉结后,了知呼吸之自性,以分别之方便,此方便亦不”, "english_translation": "It is said that one should recite one million one hundred and sixteen thousand times. That is the number obtained by counting each of the exhalation and inhalation of breath separately. Since there is no time for abiding other than these two, one might wonder how to recite by combining the letter 'A' with abiding. The former Tibetan lamas used to say that they would pause slightly between exhalation and inhalation and then combine it with the letter 'A'. To this, some later lamas say that if one does so, it contradicts what is said about natural recitation, and it would be a fault of not completing the recitation of one million one hundred and sixteen thousand times a day, so they advocate not deliberately clinging to it, but reciting naturally. To this, the same objection still applies, so a further answer is needed. If that is the case, since there is no abiding other than exhalation and inhalation in natural movement, it is necessary to explain how the abiding of breath that combines with the letter 'A' arises. If one thinks that there is an interval after the breath has stopped and before it comes out of the nostrils, then because the exhalation begins immediately after the inhalation ends, there is no interval between the two. If one considers that there is abiding from the inside to the nostrils, then one must also consider that there is abiding from the nostrils to the inside before reaching its own place, so it is merely giving a name of abiding to the coming and going of breath. Therefore, the saying that one recites one million one hundred and sixteen thousand times a day is the method of not separately calculating the abiding other than the exhalation and inhalation of breath. And the recitation that enters naturally is also the same. When combining with the three syllables, just as there is a separate 'A' apart from Oṃ (ༀ,Oṃ,ओं,圆满) and Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,Hūṃ,हूँ,吽), one must separately establish abiding apart from inhalation and exhalation, so immediately after the inhalation is finished, one deliberately makes an internal abiding and then exhales in combination with the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,Hūṃ,हूँ,吽). If it contradicts natural recitation merely because of this, then combining with the three syllables is also not present in natural breath, so that also contradicts natural recitation, and therefore it would become not Vajra recitation. The second part has three points: It reveals that the heart's knot of the channel is untied by Vajra recitation; it explains that this method of untying the knot of the channel is superior to other methods; and it explains the reason for only speaking of Vajra recitation. The first point is: In the sixth chapter of the Vajramala Tantra, it says: "By the very nature of the mantra, it is untied. After the yogi has untied the knot, that which knows the very nature of the breath, by the means of distinguishing the special, this means also not"
