Be sure to do so. The commentary says: If, like applying the determination of one hundred and eight kinds of conceptual thoughts, then the absence of conceptual thought is, in the ultimate sense, empty of afflictions. The supreme is equal to the sky. Application is, in the ultimate sense, close to peace. Therefore, abandon conceptual thoughts. Know the nature of all things, they appear as such and such. One hundred and eight refers to conceptual thoughts turning their backs on objects. Fifth, reversing the wind: From the same scripture: Through yoga accompanied by conceptual thought, after the yoga returns from that, the great wind of non-conceptualization, runs in the wheel of the channels. From then on, from all the combinations of afflictions, from certainty is the ultimate. In twenty-seven days and nights, through the application of the initial activity, cultivate with the wisdom of returning. This means that the yogi, accompanied by one hundred and eight kinds of conceptual thoughts, after returning from that, the great wind of non-conceptualization runs in the wheel of the channels, from then on, from all the combinations of afflictions, namely conceptual thoughts and objects, from the ultimate certainty of reversal, the wind that generates conceptual thoughts will return. Therefore, for the application of the initial activity of those who believe in the complete Vajra recitation, that is, the yogi cultivates for twenty-seven days and nights with the wisdom of returning the wind that generates conceptual thoughts. This is after determining the wind or one hundred and eight kinds of conceptual thoughts, and then, as before, doing the Vajra recitation for twenty-seven days and nights. The life-downward moving winds that generate conceptual thoughts gradually enter the central channel. Sixth, complete purification: From the same scripture: From then on, those who are pure, also with the power of true yoga, completely abandon the yoga of life and diligence, only the very nature of the wind, one should cultivate the supreme yoga. With the non-dual supreme yoga, in twenty-seven days and nights, relying on the very nature of the wind, the distracted mind will be purified. This means that after reversing the wind, one should cultivate purity. How to cultivate? Completely abandon life and diligence, that is, the yoga of counting breaths in and out, with the power of true yoga, cultivate the completely pure yoga that becomes supreme among the six yogas. That is the very nature of the wind.

Oh, then, the ultimate merging of oneself into the wind of luminosity, which is the cause of gathering other winds and thoughts, that is, through the supreme, perfectly pure yoga of non-duality, meditate for twenty-seven days. By this, the winds and thoughts that wander outward will be purified. This is after the previous five, after all the winds have entered the central channel, without counting exhalation and inhalation, on the indestructible bindu A in the heart, gather the winds and focus the mind there, and by meditating, pacify the winds and thoughts, therefore it is called perfectly pure. In short, for this Vajra recitation, one must first know that the wind enters the central channel, and after entering, that they are gathered on the indestructible bindu in the heart. Because the intention of the empowerment lies in this. The commentary says that "those" refers to those winds. And through the power of yoga and meditating on the absence of things, or meditating on the three letters, and removing the thoughts of life and diligence, turning from the contaminated to the uncontaminated virtue, thereby preventing rebirth, this is explained as the meaning of complete abandonment. However, regarding the method of practicing Vajra recitation, the explanatory tantras elaborate on six, and if among these six there is no yoga of gathering on the indestructible bindu after the wind has been infused into the central channel, then it cannot be found elsewhere. And after the wind of thoughts returns and runs in the wheel of the non-thought channel, how one should practice, such a method of practice will also be explained, therefore it is unreasonable. The Lamp of Clarity says that during the stage of life and diligence, visualizing the short A in the heart and placing the life in the bindu means that the life, that is, the winds, are gathered in the indestructible bindu. Therefore, even if translated as: The yogas of life and diligence, after completely and thoroughly abandoning, such a translation is good. In many chapters of the Vajra Garland, it is said that the suchness of mantra or Vajra recitation should be practiced for six months, and how to do it for each month, and the order in which the experience of wind arises, should be understood as previously explained. If one is not sure of such a classification that has been well established by the explanatory tantras, and does not explain the method of practicing Vajra recitation, but instead transmits it to others as a secret instruction.
