My statement is in accordance with the (Buddha's) intention. So, if the explanation of the examples represented by the initial "one," etc., is the same as before, then how should the "one" of the meaning represented be explained? The initial one refers to the initial appearance of the formation of the body. One is the subtle life force, the innate wind-mind. Nine are the remaining four of the root winds and the five of the branch winds. The center of that refers to abiding in the root of all of that. What cannot be bound by ten is the coarse life force, and ten cannot exert influence on it. The vowel and consonant letters are the winds and natures. Following after that, and those bound by A, refers to abiding in their root. As it says in the 'Exposition of Intention': As long as the world is established, similarly, various establishments, are constantly produced from the wind of discriminating awareness Bodhicitta. The seeds of happiness, suffering, and other phenomena, are spoken of as being like seeds. The second part has four: collecting mantras, the meaning of mantras, the symbols of mantras, the suchness of mantras. The first part is: the end of arising is the letter Ha, the end of both the arising and warming sections is called the end of arising, referring to the invisible. Parts, etc., are A. To this, Chak translating it as "the beginning of the part" is good, because the Sanskrit word for "etc." also applies to the beginning, and because this is the beginning of the vowel to be collected. Therefore, a part is a vowel, and it is translated as "its beginning," so Lakshmi explains parts, etc., as A. The sixteenth is the last vowel, A with a strong accent mark. If the two are combined, it is a long A with a strong accent mark. The fifth five refers to the twenty-five from Ka to Ma, and its last one is Ma. After the letter Ma, add a nasal sound, and then combine it with the letter Ha. Four refers to three, which is four times three equals twelve, and the meaning of "combine" in "must combine" is together, so what are these twelve together with? It is the thirteenth vowel letter O. That is, the meaning of the letter with Am (Tibetan: ཨཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अं, Sanskrit Romanization: aṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Am) is to have a bindu. To this, Chak translating it as "afterwards combined with a vowel" is good, because the letter O afterwards has a nasal sound, so it is Om (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om). The long sound is the long sound U, and it is combined with the letter Ha, so it is Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum). After collecting like this, explaining approaching collection refers to qualities, etc., that is, mental strength.
