It is the Vipāka-phala, that is, the great difference between good and bad, such as the length of life and wealth and poverty. This is due to the merit accumulated by good deeds and the demerit accumulated by bad deeds in previous lives. Therefore, the people of other continents do not have such great differences between good and bad due to the power of previous karma, so it is said that this continent is the land of karma. Bhava Bhadra said: 'Thus, in the various places of Jambudvipa itself, the yoginis reside. This continent is the land of karma, so all karmas will be accomplished, but in other continents, the fruit will not ripen there by that karma, because it is the fruit of others, so karma will not be accomplished there, so the yoginis do not go to other continents.' Whether the karma accumulated in this life will bear fruit in this life is taken as the standard of whether it is the land of karma or not. Because other continents are not the land of karma, the yoginis of the twenty-four realms do not go to other continents. This is what is said in the commentary on the fourteenth chapter of the Vajra Dakini. Another way in which the fruits of those evil deeds ripen is as follows: The people of Jambudvipa are born out of attachment to gain and honor, and belong to either desire or ignorance, showing deception as if they have qualities when they do not, and hypocrisy that is the same in essence and hides their own shortcomings by means, and arrogance or pride that is completely attached to their own dharma such as lineage, and jealousy that belongs to hatred and agitates the mind from within at the perfection of others, and malicious thoughts of harming others, and so on, with many afflictions, they will be tormented by many diseases such as epidemics and many severe sufferings such as old age. It is also said in the Vinayasamucchaya: 'Jambudvipa and other well-born places, / Are famously known as the land of karma, / From good deeds and bad deeds, / Superior, middling, and inferior, / The ripening of previous lives here, / All beings will see, / Pride, stinginess, malicious mind, / Deceit, hypocrisy, manifest pride, / Greed, hatred, ignorance, and other afflictions, / Are greatly tormented by old age and disease.'

If there are so many faults, would it contradict the attainment of enlightenment by relying on that basis? Although those faults exist, because mentioning the beginning of the words allows for a complete understanding of the meaning, and the faculties such as faith are very sharp, intelligent, and able to endure. Therefore, those bodhisattvas who are bound by one lifetime and reside in Tushita (དགའ་ལྡན།) will be born in the center of the abodes of beings in Jambudvipa (འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་།), and having become enlightened on that basis, they will teach the Dharma to people. Explaining that the existence of suffering such as illness is the reason for the Buddha's coming to Jambudvipa (འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་།) contradicts "however," so it is not reasonable. The Vinayasutra also says: "The supreme chief of Jambudvipa (འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་།), those born in the central land, with dull, middling, and sharp faculties, depend on the merit of previous lives." It is said that having three types of faculties depends on the virtuous actions of the past, as explained in the commentary. Those texts of the Reply Treatise, although similar to humans, state that due to the difference in whether the faculties are very sharp or not, enlightenment is not attained in other continents, but is attained in Jambudvipa (འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་།), and that the supreme being of Jambudvipa (འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་།) arrives in the central land. Thirdly, to explain that bodhisattvas attain enlightenment by relying on the basis of Jambudvipa (འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་།), therefore, the tantras also state content that is consistent with what was said before. Among the four ways of attaining enlightenment, being born as a human in Jambudvipa (འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་།) freed from the eight unfree states is the first definitive way. Leaving home निश्चित (Sanskrit Devanagari: निश्चित, Sanskrit Romanization: niścita, Chinese literal meaning: certain) and becoming ordained is the second way. Having become ordained and guarding the precepts taught in the Vinaya is the third great way. Like this, having attained samadhi by relying on morality is the fourth way, which is the most excellent of all ways, as stated in the Great Yoga Tantra called "Uncommon Secret." The Vinayasutra also says: "Being born as a human is the first supreme fruit, finding निश्चित (Sanskrit Devanagari: निश्चित, Sanskrit Romanization: niścita, Chinese literal meaning: certain) renunciation from one's own home is the second, having become ordained and performing virtuous deeds is the third, obtaining one-pointed mind is said to be the fourth." The Vinayasutra Commentary considers leaving home निश्चित (Sanskrit Devanagari: निश्चित, Sanskrit Romanization: niścita, Chinese literal meaning: certain) as the second and ordination as the third, but performing virtuous deeds after ordination should be considered the third, because both the Uncommon Secret and the Lamp Illuminating

It is to accord with its intention. This is the first of the four ways of attaining Buddhahood through the Dharma of detachment and attachment when attaining Buddhahood, as stated in the "Lamp Illuminating": Being born in a human birth is said to be called lineage. From within the circle of consorts, definite emergence is the basis of discussion. Showing the precepts from the Vinaya is said to be the definitive statement. Practicing Dharma with the desire for fruit, that is said to be the cause. This is considered to be the four kinds of reasoning for the Dharma of detachment. So it is said. Fourth, as previously stated, therefore, all Buddhas of the past, future, and present enter into the state of human nature, that is, are born, and become endowed with attaining the state of accomplishment of omniscience. Therefore, in order to be in accordance with the order of birth of human beings in Jambudvipa, this order of relying on the generation of deities is shown here. If it is said that since Buddhahood can also be attained on the basis of Akanishta, this reason that all Buddhas of the three times attain Buddhahood on the basis of human beings is not established, and even if it is assumed to be established, it cannot be used as proof, because a Bodhisattva like the noble White Lotus, for the reason of attaining Buddhahood on the basis of Jambudvipa, when relying on the generation of deities with superior intention and the samadhi of the four yogas, meditating in accordance with the order of birth of human beings in Jambudvipa is of no benefit. There is no such fault, because saying that the Buddhas of the three times attain Buddhahood on the basis of human beings does not refer to Buddhas in general, but refers to those who attain Buddhahood in the desire realm. And relying on the generation of deities, here it does not refer to the general practice of the mantra path, but refers to the chief disciple of the Mahayoga Tantra, a person like a precious jewel, who in this life practices the path of the two stages and attains Buddhahood as it appears from the mantra. And that basis is also definitely a basis with desire. If you want to know how to determine that it is a basis with desire, in the Vajra Heart Ornament Tantra, at the end of the many numbers of the Mahayoga Tantra, it says:
