It is like the dew that clings to the grass, disappearing when the sun rises. Possessing faith and compassion, hearing opens the door of wisdom, flowing like seamless light, this is the so-called Lotus person. Like a white lotus, although able to hear and comprehend more of the graspable Dharma words and meanings than companions, yet lacking the ability to show it to others. This is like a vase filled with cotton, wool, and seeds, expanding and unable to be taken out again, or like the fragrance of a white lotus circling in its own pistil, unable to spread elsewhere. Although hearing and mastering much graspable knowledge, yet lacking the ability to teach others, like a vase filled with cotton, wool, and seeds, this is the so-called White Lotus person. Like an Utpala, able to hear all measurable objects from the guru, and after hearing, also skilled in grasping words and meanings, but what is grasped will immediately, that is, without much delay, be forgotten. This is like an Utpala, when in water, able to absorb much fragrance and not deteriorate, but once taken out of the water, it will immediately deteriorate and the fragrance will disappear. This is hearing everything, and being skilled in grasping, but forgetting immediately, this is the so-called Utpala person. The second is the inferior faculty, the fifth is the middling, the third and fourth are the superior faculties. These four follow faith. Lakshmi said that the first is the best faculty, following the Dharma. Sgron gsal said that the latter four tend to immature, inferior roots of virtue. Among them, people like Utpala and white lotus are suitable as listeners, even if they forget what they have heard, because they leave an impression in the mind, so later they will produce results. They are not suitable as speakers and practitioners, because they forget what they have heard, so they cannot show and practice it now. People like lotus and sandalwood are suitable as listeners and practitioners, but not suitable as speakers, because they lack the qualities of language and cannot be grasped by others. People like jewels are suitable as speakers, and therefore also suitable as listeners and practitioners. The former Vinaya masters said that not being able to grasp refers to the situation where one cannot grasp the Dharma through play. People like Utpala and white lotus listen

It is said that at that time, one cannot help but remember and grasp the meaning of all the Dharma words heard from the Lama. Even if one cannot help but remember and grasp everything heard in the Dharma assembly, there is no contradiction in being suitable as a practitioner and a speaker. The seventh has three aspects. The meaning of the main point. The recognition of the two truths. Questions and answers based on the ultimate truth. The first is: The ornament of determining the intention of speaking by combining the two truths is like this: Just as the illusory body of the conventional truth and the luminosity of the ultimate truth are determined as separate and combined. In the Lamp Illuminating, it says: Through those six ornaments, the two truths are clearly determined. That is the seventh ornament, which is the accomplishment of the completion stage. It is said that here, the determination of the two truths must be done as the seventh ornament, and it is also said that the two truths must be determined through the previous six ornaments. Its meaning is: This tantra, which is the basis of explanation, explains the four stages of the path through the two doors of explaining the intention, and explains to the five types of individuals through the two types of explanation. What kind of main understanding arises for the meaning of the tantra? It is to generate a definite understanding of the meaning of the two truths without inversion. Therefore, all the explanations of the root tantra of the Gathering through the seven ornaments are for the purpose of generating the understanding of union for the disciples, and it is very important to grasp the key points. That is also, as mentioned before, the conventional truth of the rainbow body Vajrasattva body accomplished from the five innate body, wind, and light, and the ultimate truth of the luminosity that directly realizes the meaning of suchness through the bliss born together, the state of simultaneously manifesting the two truths. In order to determine such a union of the two truths, first, it is necessary to determine without inversion the conventional illusory body and the ultimate luminosity of each of the two truths. Therefore, one must thoroughly understand the self-blessing that arises from the impure illusory body of wind and mind alone at the end of mind isolation, and how to manifest the pure luminosity of the three appearances of the two meditations while dwelling on that basis. The basis for accomplishing the illusory body is: the three emptinesses of mind isolation and the wind that rides on it. Therefore, the internal cause is the Vajra recitation.
