但这不是通常所说的十八界,因为梵语词语dhatu(梵文天城体:धातु,梵文罗马拟音:dhātu,汉语字面意思:界)既可以指“界”,也可以指“法界”,所以这里指的是光明法界。

Also, these rituals were specially taught. The sixth question is: Just as it is necessary to explain the fire offering, please also specially teach the rituals for offering to the deities. The above is the content of the request. The second part is divided into two points: the transition of the answer, and the actual answer. The first point is: Just as it was said before, as soon as the goddess Tara finished asking, Vajrasattva gave answers to these questions, which will be explained below. The second part is divided into six points: the answer to the request for the practice of Dharmadhatu, the answer to the request for the practice of substances, the answer to the request for the practice of mantras, the answer to the request for the mandala, the answer to the request for the fire offering ritual, and the answer to the request for how to make offerings. The first part is divided into four points: urging to listen, the actual content to be listened to, applying what is listened to to practice, and what is not explained here should be understood elsewhere. The first point is: Calling Tara as "Goddess", and then saying, "Regarding the practice of Dharmadhatu luminosity, please listen carefully, I will explain." The second point is: "The so-called Dharmadhatu", thus beginning to explain. So, what is "Dharma" and what is "Dhatu"? "Dharma" refers to the Dharmadhatu which is contained by form, sound, smell, as well as taste, touch, etc., as well as the six places from the eye place to the mind place, as well as the six consciousnesses from eye consciousness to mind consciousness, these eighteen. "Also" means to collect. "Dhatu" refers to the six roots as the basis, as well as the six consciousnesses that depend on it, as well as the six objects that are the object, these are all Dhatu. But this is not the commonly said eighteen Dhatus, because the Sanskrit word dhatu can refer to both "Dhatu" and "Dharmadhatu", so here it refers to the luminous Dharmadhatu. Some versions say: "Made by Dharmadhatu". This is incorrect, because Dhatu, Ayatanas and Skandhas are produced from Dharmadhatu, which will be explained later. The Dharmadhatu of the eighteen Dharmas, that is, the luminosity of death, which arises from these luminosities, is known as the Bodhicitta of the three: mind, intellect and consciousness. In the Vajrajnana Samgraha of All Tathagatas, it is said: "The consciousness arising from luminosity is called mind, intellect and consciousness, which is the root of all Dharmas." These three are also explained as the three: appearance, increase, and attainment. And this itself is the Bodhicitta Samantabhadra.

It is also said in the Compendium of Practices. From the bodhicitta of the three, appearance, increase, and attainment, the gradual arising of wind, fire, water, and earth is the arising of the element aggregate. That is the form of the two, name and form, and name is the name aggregate. Since it is said that the two follow each other, form also arises from name, and name also arises from form, the latter being that mind also arises from the aggregate. Because of the cause of name and form, the six sense bases arise. Therefore, from the mind of name, the apertures of the sense faculties, the space element, and, with the word "also," not only that, but also the eighteen elements, the sense bases, the faculties, and the aggregates arise. Also in the Wisdom Vajra Samuccaya it is said: "The mount of consciousness is wind. From wind, fire. From fire, water. From water, earth. From these arise the five aggregates, the six sense bases, and the five objects." These dharmas that arise from luminosity are again gathered into the fundamental place, the realm of luminosity. Making the gathering stable is the practice of the dharmadhatu luminosity. How to gather? Gather back in the order in which they arose. The Vajra Garland Tantra says: "As it arises, so it abides, it dissolves into its own nature." And: "When all the winds have completely ceased, by what is truly known, the characteristic of the moment of death, mutually and truly gather, dissolve in the order of arising." Through vajra recitation and so on, by means of methods of striking the vital points of the body, gathering the aggregates and so on into the dharmadhatu as in the order of death, thereby manifesting luminosity, here is explained the method of taking death as the path of the dharmakaya. By its key point, from the state of luminosity, like the bardo, from wind and mind, accomplishing the sambhogakaya, this is taking the bardo as the sambhogakaya. When the bardo takes birth in the womb, as it appears to the eye of flesh, when the illusory sambhogakaya takes birth as the nirmanakaya, it becomes an object even for sentient beings who cannot see the sambhogakaya. Therefore, performing activities, taking birth as the nirmanakaya, this is the ultimate special dharma explained by the noble father and sons, the meaning of union. Third is:
