This is revealed by concealing and showing the four letters. Thus, twelve is the twelfth letter Aḥ counted from A after discarding the four letters ṛ ḷ. Five are the five groups of ka ca ṭa ta pa. Its fifth is the last ma of the pa group. By making it the crest of O, it becomes Om (ༀ་, Devanagari: ओम्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om). The end of the eighth counted from ya is ha. The gathering of elements means that it is surrounded by the four elements. The first sound letter A, adorned with the fifth letter ma, becomes Aṃ (ཨཾ་, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Aṃ). In the Chinese transliteration of compassion, On the "ka" called "Karuna", adding the sixth letter "ṣa" counted from ya, it becomes "kṣa". Looking downwards means that the letter looks downwards from the throat to the head. Explaining its special feature is that the so-called "original" refers to one foot. Showing it on the crown of the head refers to the letter "kṣa" mentioned above. This is how it is explained. This is inconsistent with the four letters explained in the previous commentary, and without explaining Otuba, simply making the ma letter the crest, it is not very good. Therefore, it is explained like this: after discarding the four neuter letters, the twelfth of the vowels is the seed syllable of speech Vajra, Aḥ. The last of the five groups ka ca ṭa ta pa is the pa group, and its fifth is the ma letter. At the end of the eighth counted from ya, what ultimately appears is ha. Combining it with the ma letter, it becomes Haṃ (ཧཾ་, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Haṃ). In some versions translated by Smriti, "the end of the eighth gathers the elements", so the appearance itself is good. Here, adding the sixth long vowel Ā, it becomes the seed syllable of mind Vajra, Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ་, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ). Looking downwards means that in Sambhuta, the long Hūṃ in the center of the heart chakra is said to be looking downwards, because this Hūṃ letter is also the seed syllable of mind. The sound is the first vowel letter A, and the fifth also, the sound of "also" that appears in both translations, again grasping the fifth letter ma of the pa group, combining it with A, it becomes Aṃ (ཨཾ་, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Aṃ). Here, the fifth vowel letter short U, being properly adorned, becomes the seed syllable of body Vajra, Om (ༀ་, Devanagari: ओम्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om). It is explained that A and U become O, the adornment means combining the two. Great compassion is compassion without an object, which in this vehicle is considered co-emergent bliss, the mind of the Tathagatas. What arises from it is its essence. It is original, that is, the nature of initially arising and ultimately ceasing.
