Therefore, the mantra that is recited or spoken, and the symbolism of the mantra, these two show the practice of Vajra recitation, and by doing so, generating the Bodhicitta of the two truths is the meaning of the mantra or the object of the mantra, and the ultimate truth of the mantra, these two teachings should be grasped as the meaning of the explanatory tantra. The second chapter ends. In the chapter on the transfer of the main deity, the second line of "Body, speech, and mind are Vajra," some versions say "Mudra or should be meditated," some versions say "After the mudra, it should be meditated," and some versions say "Mahamudra should be meditated," three different old translations appeared. In the tantra translated by Patsab, it says: "Vairochana Mahamudra, Characteristics of body, speech, and mind, Or body, speech, Vajra, Mudra should be meditated thus." As such, the third statement appearing in the old translation should be adopted, that is, the two lines are "Form should be meditated in the center," because the meaning of the form mentioned refers to the practice of Vajradhara, so the word "or" is not appropriate, and although the practice of other deities such as Vairochana in the center of the mandala is not clear here, it is permissible to practice in that way, because the proof is established by quoting the teachings such as "Why is Vajradhara the victor" in the sixteenth chapter. Vajradhara being said to be the main deity of the mandala refers to the cases of enrichment and some cases of accomplishing activities. The phrase "endowed with the two accumulations," either treat it as not being in Patsab's translation, or if it is in the old translation, then apply it to all five families. Regarding the quotation of the teachings such as "Vajradhara the victor," some say that there are only three lines in the Chinese version, because in Patsab's translation, "Why is Vajradhara the victor, Body is truly drawn in the center, Mandala transforms in its center" is consistent with the sixteenth chapter, however, in the last sentence, it is good to say "Its mandala becomes the place." Here, regarding the way of transferring the main deity, when Vairochana becomes the main deity, Vairochana and the consort are together in the center, Akshobhya without the consort is placed in the east, and if Amitabha becomes the main deity, he is also placed in the center with the consort.

Except for what is mentioned in the commentary of 'Par gyu', it is not clearly explained in other commentaries. In 'Nyimpa'i Metok' (A Handful of Flowers), it says: If another king becomes the center, then his position will not change. Whenever the lord of the retinue is a Buddha, then take (the Buddha) out of the retinue and merge it there. If the retinue of a Bodhisattva becomes the lord, then merge his lineage lord. Other than the Victorious One, the mandala maker, if he becomes the lord of the wheel, then that central one is also that other one, and one's own position is also another. Thus it is said. The meaning of the first two lines is: whichever of the four Tathagatas of the retinue goes to the central position, the immovable one will go. Then the meaning of the two lines is: if retinues other than the Tathagata become the lord, then the (Buddha) taken out from the Buddha's retinue is merged into the one who has become the lord. Then the two lines say: the Buddha who is merged into the previous (retinue) is also the lord of his lineage, which is to clarify what was said earlier. Then the meaning of the two lines is: when a retinue other than the Buddha becomes the lord, then place a second one similar to oneself in his position. Je Gho thinks: the four Tathagatas of the retinue are like a handful of flowers. Here the main deity is with the consort, and the other deities are individual. Therefore, for the four, such as Vairochana, the Touch Vajra Mother is not placed in the position where any of the four consorts, such as the lotus eye, has gone to the center. If Buddha Eye becomes the main deity, then first, during the union, abide in the samadhi of Buddha Eye, and then change the name. Also transform the consort into Buddha Eye, and merge one's own Buddha Eye into Vairochana, and with the image of Buddha Eye, expel the deities with the pride of Vairochana. Place Akshobhya in the position of Vairochana, and place the second Buddha Eye in the position of Buddha Eye. The other three goddesses are also the same. If Form Vajra Mother becomes the main deity, then first, during the union, abide in the samadhi of Form Vajra Mother, and then change the name. Place the consort Lotus Eye in front, and from union with her, generate Vairochana, and then merge it into oneself, and with the pride of Vairochana, expel the deities with the image of Form Vajra, place Akshobhya in the position of Vairochana. Place the second Form Vajra Mother in the position of Form Vajra Mother, and the other three Mind Mothers are also the same. If Maitreya becomes the main deity, then first, at the time of union, abide in Maitreya, transform the consort into Lotus Eye, and then unite.
