That is, as the Tathagata and Vajradhara revealed in the Compendium of Practices, the extensive arali (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) of all the Tathagatas is with activity; constantly pervasive, enjoying some out of necessity, is without activity; abandoning all clamor, abiding solely on the food of meditation, becoming accustomed to entering into equilibrium with the wisdom mudra, is the practice of extreme non-activity. Just as there is no difference between wood, palm leaves, and cotton wool burning to ashes, all three practices accomplish the state of Vajradhara; and it is said that one should learn the three practices according to the distinctions of small, medium, and large, and according to age. A-ra-li is translated as play or enjoyment. That is the mudra and its answer, etc., spoken of in the Compendium of Practices. The practice of non-activity is that those things must generally be done regularly, but sometimes those things are put aside and done out of necessity. However, even the many activities of having a special dwelling with cushions, and assistants to perform rituals, and their clothes, masks, and food, etc., are also established as extremely non-active, so for that, the activity of actions is extremely small. The three examples show that each of the three practices accomplishes the result, so it is not necessary to practice all three. There are many ways to explain small, medium, and large, but some explain it as the three types of large, medium, and small resources, and the three types of small, medium, and large wisdom. Some explain it as the three types of large, medium, and small desire, but in reality, it is due to the three types of large, medium, and small resources, as well as the three types of small, medium, and large age, and the three types of large, medium, and small thoughts that like activity. Among them, the first practice is spoken of in the Union, and in the Collection, only the latter two practices are spoken of, as stated in the Compendium of Practices. Considering that the extensive activities of the previously mentioned actions were not mentioned in the Collection, it is said that only the latter two practices were shown in the Collection, and the Lamp says that the text of the Collection shows the first practice, which is that those with activity enjoy desires as they wish, and the generation stage practitioner enters into the practice of activity.

It is not contradictory because it is only a slight indication. Here, the previous commentators considered that in explaining "enjoying desirable things," the first two lines of the first verse are the practice with elaboration, the second verse is the practice without elaboration, and the four lines "eating by begging and not repeating" are applied to the case of extreme non-elaboration. Therefore, it is held that there must be three different ways of thinking about engaging in the enjoyment of desirable things in the three practices. In the first case, it says, "One serves by enjoying in accordance with the senses." In the second case, it says, "By one's own deity's samadhi." Therefore, it is considered that in the first practice, there is more attachment, so it is only in the realm of the senses. In the second case, it is in the realm of both the senses and samadhi, and in the third case, it is only in the realm of samadhi, with the intention of engaging in desirable things. Although they say this, here, the main focus is on engaging in desirable things for the sake of the wisdom of non-dual union, great bliss, which is the same for all three practices, as previously explained. Also, in the root tantra, it says, "The one with desire, with wisdom-desire, constantly serves the qualities of desire." From this, it is also known that it is not practiced only in the realm of the senses, nor only in the realm of the senses and samadhi. If what is enjoyed is the desirable thing that causes the mind of enlightenment to arise anew, to remain without decline, and to become a means of increasing, then, instead of stopping as one pleases, enjoying in accordance with the senses and one's own desires is the same for all three practices. Therefore, the two lines of the word "desire" and "enjoying all desires" are said to be the same. Even so, in order to show that it does not become a repetition, it is said that the practice is shown to the three practices in that way. The so-called "being content with just the body remaining" means that the body remains without harming the increase of elements, and does not mean just maintaining life. That way is not a characteristic of the third practice, as can be seen from the case of enjoying non-elaborate food in chapter sixteen. It is not just for maintaining life, because "For all enjoyment of desirable things, if one serves, one will quickly attain," and "Enjoying all desires.
