Abiding in the center of the sphere of reality, contemplate the solar mandala. In such instances, let me briefly explain the meaning of Vajra recitation. Vajra recitation, if divided from the perspective of the mantra to be recited, is said to have two types: the three-syllable Vajra recitation and the two-syllable Vajra recitation of Hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) and Haḥ (藏文,梵文天城体:हः,梵文罗马拟音:haḥ,汉语字面意思:Haḥ), as stated in the Vajramala Tantra. In that tantra, the two-syllable Vajra recitation is mainly taught. In the Gongpa Lungten, the Later Tantra, and the Four Goddesses' Questions, only the three-syllable Vajra recitation is taught, and in the treatises of the noble Father and Sons, only the three-syllable Vajra recitation is explained. However, it is not that the two-syllable Vajra recitation is not considered a characteristic Vajra recitation. If divided from the perspective of the object of focus, the winds, there are two types: the Vajra recitation of the root winds and the branch winds. The former can be divided into four types: the Vajra recitation of the four chakras, and the latter can be divided into five types: the Vajra recitation of the pervasive winds, etc. Among these, if a practitioner of the Completion Stage performs Vajra recitation to accomplish the activities of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and subjugating, it is done with the four root winds. Also, if a practitioner of the Completion Stage performs Vajra recitation to accomplish the five direct perceptions of the eye, etc., it is done with the five branch winds. When performing Vajra recitation to generate emptinesses of mind isolation, having first cultivated body isolation, one initially works with the four root winds, and at a point where one gains ability, one works with the five branch winds. Thus, three occasions for performing Vajra recitation are taught, and here it is the latter. If the method of performing Vajra recitation on which wind is as such, then is there a definite location from which to perform it, saying, "Perform it from this key point of the body"? In response, most people, apart from merely exhaling and inhaling through the nostrils from within the body, do not ascertain that it should be done from this location of the body's channels and chakras. Also, some say that one performs it on each of the four chakras individually from the locations of the four root winds, such as the throat, etc. For the former, although it may be established that the three aspects of the wind's rising, entering, and abiding are combined with the three syllables, because it lacks the oral instruction of performing it from this key point of the body's channels and chakras, no matter how much one strives, one will not be able to draw the four emptinesses from the wind entering and dissolving into the central channel, because even counting the exhalation and inhalation of the wind as explained in other listening places will not accomplish it in that way.

The transformation is irreversible. The second view only touches upon the key points of the body's chakras, but this method of Vajra recitation does not truly grasp the meaning of touching the key points of the body. Here, the meaning of contemplating the four mandalas of the sun, clarity, jewel, and light, which are said to reside in the center of the sphere of space, is explained. The sphere of space is indestructible, and the central position arises from there, and the four mandalas that arise correspond in sequence to the winds of the four elements. It is said that one should perform the Vajra recitation of the three letters on these. Furthermore, in the third chapter, when explaining the necessity of drawing the mandala of the moon in the center of the sphere of space, drawing the wheel of Dharma and the lotus mandala in the center of the mandala of clarity, contemplating the mandala similar to the jewel mandala, and drawing the mandala of union, the sphere of space is luminosity, and the moon and the mandala of clarity are indestructible, and the central position arises from there. The four mandalas that arise in this way are the manifestations of the four winds of the mandalas of water, fire, great power, and wind, in sequence. In the third chapter, the ultimate explanation of the meaning of the five-colored jewel, etc., is that one contemplates the indestructible bindu in the center of the lotus in the heart, and from there performs the three recitations of the rising, entering, and abiding of the wind. In the Compendium of Practices, regarding the three letters of Vajra recitation, it is said that the mantras of snakes, etc., all originate from vowels and consonants. Their true essence is the three letters that arise from the indestructible. Therefore, reciting the three mantras of Vajra recitation means reciting in the manner of arising from the indestructible, not in the manner of arising and entering from the positions of the four chakras. The Vajra Garland says: "In the secret place, the heart, the navel, in the secret lotus, show coming and going." In order to dispel doubts about the coming and going of the four winds from these four positions, the way in which the four goddesses asked about how the wind comes and goes from the indestructible place in the heart is elaborated in detail, and a detailed explanation is given.
