What is said is that the way of establishing different from the previous one is to establish it as union. This later one is obtained from the first occurrence of the union of learning. This union is the main subject of the tantra, and the conclusion of what is difficult to understand is explained in detail in the Five Stages of Clear Light, which should be understood from it. From "That is all heard" to "The person called Precious," the first of the five persons who show their respective characteristics is the medium faculty, the second and third are the superior faculty, the fourth is the inferior faculty, these four are those who follow faith, and the fifth is the supreme faculty, who follows the Dharma, as said by Lakshmi. The first four are those who are not mature in virtue and are inclined to inferiority, as explained in the Clear Light. Among them, those like utpala (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari utpala, Sanskrit Roman transliteration utpala, Chinese literal meaning: blue lotus) and white lotus are suitable as listeners, even if they forget what they have heard, because they leave an impression on the mind, and later they will produce results. They are not suitable as speakers and practitioners, because they forget what they have heard, so there is nothing to show and practice now. Those like lotus and sandalwood are suitable as listeners and practitioners, but not suitable as speakers, because they do not have the qualities of language and cannot be understood by others. Those like precious jewels are suitable as speakers, and also suitable as listeners and practitioners, as said by the previous assembly members. Not being able to follow means that others cannot understand the Dharma from him. Those like utpala (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari utpala, Sanskrit Roman transliteration utpala, Chinese literal meaning: blue lotus) and lotus cannot remember the words and meanings of all the Dharmas they have heard from the lama when listening to the Dharma. Although they cannot remember everything they have heard in the Dharma assembly, it is not contradictory that they are suitable as practitioners and speakers. The four lines of "With the six ornaments" explain a little about the meaning of the ornament of determining the two truths. All that is said in the root tantra of the assembly through the seven ornaments is for the purpose of arousing the understanding of union in the disciples, so it is very important to grasp the key points. That is, as said before, from the original body, wind, light, and five rays, the conventional truth of the rainbow body Vajrasattva's body is accomplished, and the meaning of Suchness is directly realized by the innate bliss.

The state of manifesting and gathering the two, the light of conditioned phenomena and the ultimate truth of unconditioned phenomena, into one. To ascertain such a union of the two truths, one must first ascertain without inversion the illusory body of conventional truth and the light of ultimate truth, each separately. Therefore, one must thoroughly understand how to bless oneself by arising in the illusory body of impure wind-mind at the end of mind isolation, and how to manifest the light that purifies the three appearances by abiding in that basis and through the two meditations. The basis from which that illusory body is accomplished is the three emptinesses of mind isolation and the wind that rides them. Therefore, one must understand how to generate the three wisdoms of mind isolation through the uncommon stages of gathering, from the inner condition of meditating on life force practices such as the vajra recitation, and from the outer condition of combining with mudras. Here also, since the mind abides in the meaning of that very nature, and the body, wind, and five lights are gathered in two assemblies, it is permissible to make them the respective causes of the light and the illusory body. To know the completion stage of the two truths separately, one must know well the manner of mind isolation. To know and experience it well, one must know well the main factor that leads to it, the meditation on the three life force practices. Therefore, one must know speech that is completely isolated. Through speech isolation, gathering the winds of the left and right into the indestructible point in the center of the avadhuti at the heart, and the coemergent bliss that arises from meditating on the subtle lower gate in meditative equipoise, and in post-meditation, viewing everything that appears as its play, and also knowing the manner of meditating on body isolation as a deity as a preliminary, and then practicing. To fully generate such a complete stage in the continuum and ripen the roots of virtue, one must practice the continuum by transforming the three, birth, death, and bardo, into the three bodies, and first understand and practice the single recollection of the coarse yoga, and the manner of meditating in four sessions on the analytical yoga of the subtle mandala. To accomplish a suitable vessel for meditating on it, one must obtain a completely perfect and pure empowerment, and at that time properly protect the samaya and vows that were promised. Therefore, one must understand the meaning of the tantra.
