It is also any dharma, not corresponding to anything such as vases and cloths, that is, not corresponding. The meaning of that is that the two are not inseparable. Because, it does not appear as different either. This reason also appears in the refutation of transformation, but Patsab (name of a person) translated it as "because it is seen as different," which is a better translation. The meaning is that space only blocks tangible touch, while vases, cloths, etc. do not block it, so the two must be regarded as different. Then, are the two existing separately like vases and cloths? It is not non-corresponding, because it is said below "also the nature of corresponding and separation," so it is said that it is not a different entity that is separated separately. It is also not non-corresponding, because all material objects such as vases and cloths are the nature of that space, that is, the essence. For example, the inside of an empty vase is just blocking other tangible things such as water, that is space. If the vase and the tangible things blocked inside it are different in nature, then the vase becomes not the tangible things blocked inside, so the nature is the same. From this, other things should also be understood. That space includes everything, and also pervades the existing dharmas, such as vases, etc., and the nature of vases, etc. exists in space, and like material objects, it cannot be traced. That the two have the manifest arrogance of "I have," space does not have, so space will not think "I include all dharmas, and cannot trace the whereabouts of everything." Thus it was said. After saying the metaphor in this way, in order to show that the metaphor and the meaning are completely combined, he said "Similarly," etc. Just as space does not correspond to any dharma, that is, it is not non-corresponding, so also one should observe the non-corresponding and non-corresponding separation of dreams and the fruits of dreams. This is the first way to combine metaphor and meaning. Here, cloths, etc. are metaphors for dreams and the fruits of dreams. Space is a metaphor for the suchness of the two. Therefore, dreams and their fruits are not established by their own nature.

, because emptiness and non-duality are not one, one is the conventional truth and the other is the ultimate truth. Nor is it a non-possession of different essences, because those two are established by their own nature, being the essence of emptiness. Thus combined, the two, dharma and dharmata, are one inseparable, negating different essences and showing that the essence is the same but the entities are different. Oh! The second way of combining example and meaning is, To show that just as the sky encompasses all dharmas, and does not think of looking after all, so too are dreams and their fruits. For example, it is permissible to transform the form, so like a dream, what arises from the form and the samaya of the dream is the fruit of the dream, to be understood as similar. Thus it is said. Here are two ways of combining example and meaning, one is that just as the sky pervades all forms, and it is not visible to be observed, so too, the emptiness dream established by its own nature, and the dharma of its fruit pervade all, and although pervading, it is not visible to be observed. One is that although the sky is those two dharmas, it does not think of them as those two, similarly, when the ultimate truth of emptiness established by its own nature is manifestly realized, there is no conceptualization, and it is to be known that the appearances of duality are pacified. In order to show that dreams etc., being pure in themselves, are without inherent nature and also pervade all other dharmas, the "Bhagavan" etc. are spoken. Just as the sky is unobservable and does not appear to be observed, so too is the nature of dreams, unobservable meaning that the senses such as the eye cannot be made an object. Unobstructed means that there is no collision with walls etc. Similarly, if all dharmas such as the skandhas are to be fully known, the way to fully know them is to understand them as explained earlier by taking the sky as an example for dreams and their fruits. What need is there to mention dreams and the fruits of dreams? This is to establish that all dharmas are equal to the sky.
