The three distinctions are the three distinctions of body, vajra, Om (Tibetan:, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Chinese literal meaning:) and so on. Its recitation is that the ultimate of vajra is the perfection of the sole vajra holder. [:Patshab:] means that Vajradhara is the indivisible of the three vajras, and here, after performing the vajra recitation, ultimately, the three vajras of entering, abiding, and arising are indivisible, entering the indestructible bindu of the vajra holder in the center of the heart chakra. As stated in the commentary of the sixth chapter, one should urge the Vajrasattva who dwells in the heart. The arrangement of the three letters is to enter the wind and so on, and to recite by fully knowing one's own nature as the sound of the three letters, which is called the recitation of the three vajras, and should be known. Because it is often said that the object of this recitation has a basis, in order to indicate the object, that is, the basis, the body, speech, mind, etc. are mentioned, and the place of recitation of body, speech, and mind is the body of close acquisition. What is that? It is the body of the emanation body of the base period, and the body of the emanation body taken by the union practitioner. Relying on the existence of that body, one must perfect the activity of vajra recitation, which has the characteristics of entering the three joys and so on. Here, the former people all say that all the vajra recitations to be performed at these times are only the vajra recitations of the union practitioner for accomplishing activities such as pacification, but during the practice of the completion stage, it seems that it is also necessary to combine the guidance of emptiness by performing vajra recitation. The benefit of this is called vajra recitation and so on. The vajra recitation just mentioned can make the three vajras, that is, the body and so on, its mind, that is, the nature of the wisdom body that is inseparable and indivisible from the nature of the body and so on, become the same as the great Vajradhara. In order to indicate the supreme, that is, the incomparable offering of the completion stage, the Buddhas and so on are mentioned. The so-called body, speech, and mind are the union practitioner visualizing and generating the emanation body holding Vairochana and so on, and then, the Buddha, that is, the ten directions of the world.

The supreme distinction of the offerings of those who dwell in the realms should be examined. How is it examined? By the wisdom vajra, that is, by abiding in the union of the perfection stage's samadhi. The phrase "of the three vajras" and so on is the benefit, as explained earlier to be the same as Vajradhara. In order to abandon attachment to external offerings such as flowers, the word "again" is used to explain the supreme offering previously mentioned. The phrase "of the Buddhas" and so on is spoken, that is, the supreme offering that was previously said to be examined, that is, from the collection of all offerings, in all realms, one should meditate on the body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas and make offerings, that is, to make offerings. How is that? The collection of supreme offerings, including desirable objects and the seven precious things, transforms to pervade the realms of the world, and the wisdom vajra understands that the bodies of all the Tathagatas have been transformed into the nature of the three vajras, and then makes offerings. The union practitioner makes offerings in this way, and this is called unsurpassed, while the offerings of attendance and desirable objects are established as surpassed, so there is no contradiction. This is such complete understanding. The phrase "attaining supreme enlightenment" is the benefit of generating the state of the great Vajradhara. Thus, after showing the offering of the perfection stage for those with excellent faculties, in order to show the offering of the generation stage for those with ordinary faculties, the phrase "or the distinction" and so on is spoken. The word "or" is a particle that shows a different aspect from the offering of the perfection stage. The phrase "with three distinctions" means that the emanations of each deity are also emanated with three distinctions such as body, such as when one emanation of a single eye-goddess emanates many assemblies of the three vajras. The phrase "separately and distinctly" means that they are emanated individually, not jointly named. "Spreading" means performing the activity of bringing forth the deities from the mandala of one's own body. To the assembly of the emanated mandala, the manifestation of approaching the truth

In order to prevent the thought of "I", the "body" and so on are spoken. That is to say, the bodies and other things of the deities are without self-nature, and are one's own wisdom mind. By being grasped by the distinction of wisdom with the nature of individual discrimination, the deities are truly aroused and appear clearly in the realm of the mind. This shows that the forms of the deities who are offered are clear, and that they must be offered while being grasped by a view of non-attachment. Although it is not said here how the arising deities should be offered, it was previously said at the time of the unsurpassed offering that all offerings were transformed to fill the world and offered to all Buddhas, so it is thought that it can be understood. Relying on this explanation, it should also be understood that for the deities who emanate the mandala of the supreme king, many are emanated from one, and that the forms are clear and grasped by the view. However, it is meaningless to only explain this. In order to show the union of finally merging the deities arising from oneself back into oneself, "having spoken, Vajra" and so on are spoken. Vajra, that is, the body of the deity that one has emanated oneself. Moving from the place where it was emanated and returning again, that is, arising from that place towards this, with the nature of one's own aggregates, that is, abiding in the nature of the essence, that is, causing to abide. This shows that at the end of a session, the deities of the mandala are gathered into oneself. And the deities who arise for the sake of offering, after the work of offering is completed, in the light of completion, at the time of the union of gathering into oneself, the offering deities are extremely gathered, that is, caused to abide in the mind of samadhi. From this it can be known that at the time of arising, it also arises from the mind of samadhi. This is what was just said. Opening the eyes of wisdom means those who open the eyes of wisdom. The Buddhas are like jewel-like persons. Although this is the offering of the generation stage, it is not contradictory to say that it is the offering of jewel-like persons, because they also have a time of abiding in the generation stage. The body Vajra is Vairochana.
