Showing concealment to the wicked, it is not to say that the hidden teachings are only for the wicked. If so, it would be necessary to show the virtuous without concealment. If so, the main object of the assembled disciples would be like a precious jewel, so it would be necessary to show it very clearly. If so, many explanatory tantras would become meaningless. Therefore, in the root tantra, it is shown unclearly after being sealed, and it depends on the explanatory tantra. Moreover, it is for the purpose of relying on a lama who knows how to combine the root and explanation without error. The reason for doing so is to prevent entering the tantra arbitrarily without properly serving the teacher, because pleasing the teacher for a long time in every way is the root of accomplishment in this vehicle. Beyond the meaning of the words, concealment does not universally apply to the second meaning, such as sandalwood. In the Wisdom Vajra Samucchaya, it is said that the second meaning of camphor, blood, vajra, and lotus is explained as the definitive meaning. Therefore, it is said that way because it is the main thing. Not only the provisional meaning is spoken, but also the definitive meaning is spoken. ༈. For the sake of sentient beings with sharp faculties who desire supreme accomplishment, when the reality of the Dharma is shown as a double light, whatever is said with a combination of words that contradict the meaning, is explained by other contradictory words because it is considering other meanings, that is an explanation based on intention. For the sake of sentient beings with inferior faculties who are suitable vessels for the great secret, in order for them to understand, the reality of the double light is definitely shown with words that are direct, supreme, and very clear, because it is considering other meanings and showing it directly without contradicting the words, that is not an explanation based on intention. In the Wisdom Vajra Samucchaya, it is said that it is said that way also considering the main thing, but it is not definitive, because if even the Tathagatas do not understand the meaning of the assembly, what need is there to mention the Bodhisattvas? Just as the explanation given earlier for those like precious jewels and later for those like sandalwood is an explanation based on intention. ༈. ཁ Drawing the mandala with lines and colors, and offering the deities with attendant services, etc.

Offerings and so forth, the ritual of Torma, the preparation of medicine, and the activities of pacification and so on, and the accomplishment of the eight great siddhis, and the name "Detailed Explanation of the Initial Ritual" refers to both contemplation and detailed ritual. However, here, it must be applied to the tantras in which the mandala and so forth are spoken of. Chag says, "In the contemplation of mandalas and so forth, how are the practices spoken of?" As translated, it must be applied to contemplation. This is because it is a compilation from Yeshe Dorje's 'Collected Works,' which explains the mandalas and so forth spoken of in the three lower tantra classes, as they are. Therefore, this and Patshab's translation of "mandala and so forth and" as separate is a translation error. La, that is, how are the practices spoken of in the contemplation of the three lower tantra classes? Pa means extensively, that is, clearly, what Patshab Chag said. That and that are spoken of as literal words. Moreover, there are many literal activities and so on in the supreme contemplations as well. Literal words mostly refer to those without a second meaning, but it is not absolute.โคฏาขྱ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) and so on,ས་ཀོཊཱ་ཝ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) ཀོ་ཊཱ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) ཀོཊཱ་ཝ་ཥྩ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) ཀོ་ཊཱ་རག (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) ། ཀོ་ལ་ཁྱ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) ཀེ་ལ་ཝ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) ཀོ་ལ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) ཀོ་ལ་ཝཥྩ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) ཀེ་ལ་སྟ་ཐ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) and so on, such words. In worldly people and grammatical treatises, that name is not used as the actual name of that meaning. The Tathagata made such conventional expressions. That is not a literal word, but a declaration. Yeshe Dorje's 'Collected Works' says that the ten wordsโคฏาขྱ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) and so on indicate the five senses and the five objects, and in 'Buddha Samayoga' it explains the ten winds. ༈. After pointing out the recognition of dividing into six limits, I shall speak of the recognition of the divisions of the explanation of the four modes. ༈. The four divisions are the meaning of the word or the meaning of the letter, and the general meaning. The hidden meaning and the ultimate meaning, thus indicating the division of names. Patshab said: Although it is only feasible in terms of etymology to summarize all the general meanings into branches and translate all the hidden meanings into having essence. But it is good that the old translation and Chag translate as before. The first literal meaning has no division, so it is the only one.
