Whatever arises from the earth, that which is renowned and known, will be destroyed by seven suns. Again, repeating, even remembering through reciting the Vajra will completely destroy. The explanation of this is that the so-called "one hundred and eight" refers to eight hundred including one hundred, that is, the four mandalas of earth, water, fire, and wind, each repeated nine hundred times, which is: pa tshab: (Tibetan) or one hundred and eight. Reciting one hundred and eight times, through this combination, diseases will also be destroyed. Alternatively, my mantra takes the pride of the gods, that is, through the combination of blessing one's own illusory body, engaging in Vajra meditation, that is, the meditation that destroys diseases. The so-called "thinking with ritual" refers to remembering its ritual. That is to say, with the thought of pacifying the disease to be subdued, one visualizes the one to be subdued as an illusory body. The so-called "this" refers to all three stages of the completion stage ritual just mentioned. The so-called "all diseases" refers to external and internal ones. The oath is spoken by Vajrasattva. What is extremely difficult to transgress is what should not be recited. Having explained the vast collection of actions in this way, now entering into the samadhi of illusion, in order to show the desired dreams to those who have entered the practice of Mahamudra. That is to say, that is the main thing, but it also shows auspicious and undesirable dreams of the generation stage. After that, the "king" and so on are spoken. The shaking of wisdom refers to Vairochana and so on. Among these, the one with great light is the main one. Because it relies on the merits of desire and greatly bestows liberation, therefore, desire: pa tshab: (Tibetan) or "liberation through desire" or liberation. The so-called Vajra Dharma refers to the great Vajradhara, who spoke these words. All dharmas are like dreams, that is to say, the dharmas of external and internal things are like dreams, they are false. Self-nature is unborn, that is, there is no birth. The reason for no birth is that in the Lankavatara Sutra, it is said that considering that self-nature is unborn, I said that all dharmas are unborn. What is said and what is said here, "self-nature is unborn," have the same meaning, self-nature

One should not generate a nihilistic view that only prevents arising by saying "not born from that, nor born from self-nature," and that arising is cut off. The reason for "not born from self-nature" is that there is no cause for arising. As it is said, only arising depends on a cause, but self-nature arising does not depend on anyone, so there is no cause for arising to be established for it. In "the very nature of self-nature purity," self-nature is luminosity. Purity by that is being free from all defilements. That is to say, emptiness established by its own nature or by its own characteristics is self-nature luminosity. Understanding it in this way makes one free from all stains of defilement, which is understanding the meaning of self-nature purity. The "thatness" in "that very nature" refers to the deity's body, which is inseparable from the wisdom of luminosity and is the basis for arising, that is, the very nature of self-nature purity. To indicate the qualities possessed by those who realize this, it is said, "utterly spoken is the vajra of delusion." "Delusion" refers to wandering in samsara through the mind's view of permanence and annihilation. The "vajra of that" is like a vajra, destroying the view of permanence and annihilation. Therefore, the two are pacified. By the example of a false dream, all conditioned and unconditioned dharmas arise depending on their respective causes and conditions, which cannot be denied. And wherever it appears, it is completely empty by its own nature, like a dream. Knowing this, one should completely abandon the delusion of clinging to the extreme of annihilation, where permanence and all actions established by self-nature are unreasonable. That is to say, knowing this, one should completely abandon all wrong views. From the Samten Gyud: "Yogis always meditate, Recitation is taken to heart, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, sentient beings, See the two kinds of differences in views." The so-called "always" and so on, refers to two kinds of yogis who always strive in meditation and recitation. If one practices constantly, one will gain insight. Buddhas are those who are extremely focused on their inner self. Bodhisattvas are those who are extremely focused on mantras. Focusing on mantras and the inner
