Having heard the words of the question, he then bestowed the word "Excellent!" The Bhagavan spoke thus: ཁ What is signified, and for what reason? ཀ Because of seeing all that is to be known, ག At the beginning of the scriptures, it is said, "Evam (ཨེ་ཝཾ,梵文天城体evam,梵文罗马拟音evam,Thus)". This should be explained in order. May the lord of the gods listen. Thus he spoke, saying it because he sees all. This shows the answer to the third question. ༈ The collection of Dharma, eighty thousand and four thousand in number, as many as there are. The basis of all the scriptures is like parents giving birth to children. 1. How are the two letters shown to be like this? 2. How is it? 5. The way they become the basis like parents is that the letter ཨེ་(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,meaning in Chinese: Thus) is like a mother. It represents the sixteen vowels of wisdom. The letter ཝ་(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,meaning in Chinese: Thus) is said to be like a father. It represents the thirty consonants of skillful means. The bindu of ཝ་(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,meaning in Chinese: Thus) represents the vowels and consonants, that is, their union. The way of union is very wonderful, that is, rare. It is said that, for example, the mother is the common cause of many different kinds of children, and the father is the non-common cause of children. Just as the bodies of children are born from the equal union of the two parents, so the vowels enter into the life of each consonant, so they are the common cause. The consonants are the non-common cause. From the combination of vowels and consonants, names, words, and collections of speech gradually arise, and the scriptures are accomplished. Also, if the two letters are combined with what is to be expressed, then in order, the two aspects of ultimate wisdom and conventional skillful means, and the bindu is the wonderful union of the two. The two are the common essence of both the Mantrayana and Paramitayana. ༈ Also, the triangle of ཨེ་(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,meaning in Chinese: Thus) is said to be the lotus of the wisdom mother, which is the same shape as those gathered together. The round letter ཝ་(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,meaning in Chinese: Thus) is the vajra jewel of the father, which is the same shape as it, explaining the pride of the main deity. The bindu of ཝ་(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,meaning in Chinese: Thus) is the seed that arises from the union of the vajra and the lotus. If it is combined with the ground, then the seed will produce beings of the highest, middle, and lowest grades.

The three arise. La. If applied to the generation stage, the three of the deceased, the hero, and the wrathful deity arise. ༈. Moreover, the triangular letter E is the very wisdom that realizes suchness, which has become the nature of the three doors of liberation, and is a symbol of wisdom. Va is extremely, that is, the supreme joy, the master of all joys, and is a symbol of the difficulty of being born together. The bindu of Va is the indestructible union of bliss and emptiness, that is, the inseparability of the two. If that path is practiced, then the letters of the eighty-four thousand collections of teachings will also arise. Va, that is, the wheel of Dharma of those will be turned. The equal union of Vajra and Padma, and based on that, the union of bliss and emptiness, is common to both stages, so it is a common meaning. Therefore, in order to express what is said, the answer to the question "Why are two letters spoken?" is shown. ༈. To elaborate on the meaning of the eighty-four thousand collections of teachings, the two letters of the Dharma seal are spoken. Who knows that suchness, as it is said? He will soon turn the wheel of Dharma for all sentient beings and become a Buddha. Beings, that is, those who are to be subdued, if they do not know the suchness of the two letters, and constantly recite them, then they are outside the supreme Dharma spoken by the Buddha, that is, like an ascetic who abandons the inseparable union of skillful means and wisdom, like a poor man named Nordan who abandons wealth. It is said that even if one has wealth, it is like abandoning one's own enjoyment. No. ༈. For what reason, the meaning of the two letters E-Vam is the pure illusory union. Because the omniscient teacher of the tantras resides here at the time of the fruit. At the beginning of teaching the sacred Dharma, instead of saying "Idam" etc., only E-Vam is said, so it is widely explained. To summarize the meaning of the foregoing, from "Dharma collection" to "Wonderful", it is shown that all scriptures are made up of two letters, and that all their meanings are summarized into the meaning of the two letters. Therefore, E-Vam can elaborate on all the words and meanings of the scriptures, which is a common meaning. Then, E is Padma, so it is said.
