Then, in the words "and so on," all the Tathagatas are Akshobhya and so on. The vows are the goddesses. The master of those is the great Vajradhara. Pacifying is the near pacification of plagues and so on. There: attachment: going, doing, then it is the vow of pacification. Going there is supreme because it has become special like this, Vajradhara has entered into the special state of samadhi called that. In this chapter, when performing actions with the thirteen rosary mantras, abiding in each samadhi is, because the deities of each occasion and the samadhi that generates them are inseparable, they are not separated, and the deity and mantra that and that, thinking to say that this and that action should be accomplished, the mind is focused on one point. The emanation of the mantra is the emanation of the form of the sound of the mantra that is inseparable from the deity, know that it refers to all of that. All the Tathagatas are called practitioners. Those use the Sanskrit word bhāryā for wife, etymologically saying dhārayitavyam is to be held, so it is wife, that is, vidyā-mantra, the vidyā-mantra is the collection of Vajradhara's own body, speech, and mind vajras, from which it emanates in the form of sound and is bestowed. Om (ༀ་, Sanskrit: ओ, Roman transliteration: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om) and so on are mantras, the name of this mantra is snake, because first the letter Om (ༀ་, Sanskrit: ओ, Roman transliteration: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om) is like a raised head, in the middle like the body of a snake, and finally Svāhā (སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit: स्वाहा, Roman transliteration: svāhā, literal Chinese meaning: accomplishment) is like a tail. Also, in the Vajra-śekhara Tantra it is said: First having Om (ༀ་, Sanskrit: ओ, Roman transliteration: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om), finally, this which is perfectly endowed with Svāhā (སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit: स्वाहा, Roman transliteration: svāhā, literal Chinese meaning: accomplishment), is a snake, is a pacifying worker, mantra masters should know. Having said the name of the mantra, the meaning of the mantra should be explained, like this, the letter A (ཨ) and, U (ཨུ་) becomes O (ཨོ་) and, the letter A (ཨ) of Aṃ (ཨཾ་) is the meaning expressed, then giving a dot to O (ཨོ་), so it is Om (ༀ་, Sanskrit: ओ, Roman transliteration: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om). It is, that is the way to establish it as the nature of the three vajras is, the fortunate one says, A (ཨ) is Akshobhya, U (ཨུ་) is infinite light, the letter Ma (མ་) is explained as Vairocana, some translators say, A (ཨ) is body, U (ཨུ་) is speech, Aṃ (ཨཾ་) is mind. Having become Om (ༀ་, Sanskrit: ओ, Roman transliteration: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om), knowing this, reciting the letter Om (ༀ་, Sanskrit: ओ, Roman transliteration: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om) obtains merit, that is, accumulates virtue.
