The four are the four goddesses, meaning the four with lotus hand seals of the four types of generosity, etc. The excellent combination of these is to please these hand seals in the manner of embracing, etc., so it is by excellent combination in the four times. The intelligent one is the practitioner who knows all the arts explained in the extremely joyful treatises and combines them excellently. The so-called five places are the special forms, etc., of those who dwell in the places of the four goddesses, and they are used for the five extremely pleasing objects that have manifested, namely, looking at their beautiful forms, listening to the sweet songs, smelling the fragrant scents applied to the body and clothes, sucking the taste of honey from the mother's lips, and touching the tactile objects of the body. Regarding what is called wisdom, etc., the intelligent practitioner meditates on the letter Om (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:) in the hole at the tip of his own vajra, which is the wisdom vajra. Having made his own vajra, blessed by Om (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:), joyful, he enjoys the vidya. The vow, which is supreme bliss, the Sanskrit word for vow is sambhara, where sam (梵文天城体:सं,梵文罗马拟音:saṃ) is bliss and vara (梵文天城体:वर,梵文罗马拟音:vara) is supreme. That bliss: patshab: increase and show, that is, should be given. This means that by combining with the vidya, considering the arising of co-emergent great bliss in both, it is said that the supreme bliss should be given to the vidya. Doing it this way is from the aspect of benefit. It has been said in the generation stage, and it has also been said that the letter Om (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:) can prevent the outward flow of bodhicitta. If it is the time of enjoyment in the completion stage, then there is no need to rely on meditating on the letter, but the outward flow of bodhicitta is prevented by the power of the wind itself, so this enjoyment should be combined with the generation stage practitioner. In this way, there is no lack of perfect conditions for practicing, and together with the hand seals who are well-versed in the treatises of joy, those who train in the meaning of samadhi that is inseparable from great bliss and the view of emptiness, in order to show their benefits, it is said, "Seven days," etc. The generation stage practitioner who has perfected the generation stage and then engages in enjoyment, the time for the worldly accomplishment of the superior faculty is seven days. For the intermediate faculty, it is

Half a month is fifteen days and nights. Those of inferior faculties take one month or one and a half months; the month that increases by half a month is one and a half months, by which those of inferior faculties will be accomplished. The main method for accomplishing supreme siddhi through the completion stage is union, in which the vajra is the clear light of the object. The samaya is samata equality, samaya time, ekaka Lam simultaneous, that is, the clear light of the object and the wisdom of the subject are of equal taste and enter simultaneously, relying on which perfection is achieved, the vajra samaya is the great Vajradhara. If one cultivates this union and generates oneself as its nature, then one will quickly and without delay obtain siddhi, that is, the nature of the great mudra siddhi. Having explained the distinctions of time for the accomplishment of siddhi, which abides in the generation stage of conceptualization, that is, the meditative stabilization of conceptualization, in order to explain the certainty of the time for the accomplishment of siddhi in the completion stage, which abides in the body of wisdom, the supreme meditative stabilization that is the opposite of the body of mantra, it is said, "The distinctions of the number of days," and so forth. For the first-time sentient beings of the generation stage, with distinctions such as "seven days," and so forth, having been greatly exhorted, I have previously, that is, previously in seven days, and so forth, extensively elaborated and explained. Although the words "This is an explanation of abiding in supreme meditative stabilization" do not actually appear now, they can be implicitly understood in the meaning of the first half of a verse, the two lines "The distinctions of the number of days." The meaning is the same as before, and the words are as they are. Half a month, paksha, can refer to both direction and half a month, but here it should be translated as direction, and because the internal explanation is not made in the root text, it is necessary to translate it as Patsab did, "It will be accomplished within the direction." Direction is the direction of skillful means, conventional truth, and the direction of wisdom, ultimate truth. Within these two is the middle, and why? That is, abiding in the nature of the two truths, in a non-dual aspect, from this half a month, siddhi, that is, it is said that one can obtain the state of the great Vajradhara. By whom was it said? By Chakrasamvara.
