The clear light wisdom that has realized the ultimate truth! Ultimately, going into the clear light is something that all sentient beings cannot surpass, therefore it is a vow. Because of remembering through the sequence of two meditations, holding completely and then distinguishing, it is called recollection. Because of continuously practicing that, it is called meditation. The name of self-nature clear light is everything, that is, the three lights such as the all-illuminating. The one hundred and sixty self-natures such as desire are all self-nature clear light, that is, everything is the nature of emptiness, therefore it is stainless, that is, self-nature is pure! Because of taking an illusory body from the two clear lights, one is not born in the next existence. In the realm of the clear light of meaning, there is no dual appearance, therefore it is without outflows. Enlightenment is the union of the two fruits! Manifest realization is the cause of obtaining that, the clear light. The two conceptualizations that cling to the appearance of the two lights as different do not exist at the time of union. The Sanskrit word for realm is dhātu Dharani (梵文天城体:धारणि,梵文罗马拟音:dhāraṇi,汉语字面意思:总持), because of holding, it is called realm, that is, the place is the container. Because it arises depending on that, it is called arising, that is, the place is the essence. Those two, the place and the arising, also do not become objects of focus when entering the clear light, because it is not the secret intention, therefore it is said. Now, it arises from the sequence of union, for the purpose of showing the place of the emanation that arises. In that place, "that" etc. are said, the unborn is the limb of holding. After that, the arising of memory is called memory. That meditation is the samadhi of the great Vajradhara who possesses the two truths. What is that like? "Self-nature" etc. are said. The so-called "after that" appears in all the new and old translations, but the word "after that" does not appear in the root tantra. However, if it is in accordance with the commentary, then there is no word "everything", but the words "after that self-nature clear light" are clear. The so-called word "of" is non-different, that is, the uninterrupted sequence, that is, under the "of" of the clear light of the limb of holding, the name "self-nature clear light" is connected without interruption, self-nature is...

The illusory body of pure conventional truth, luminosity is the wisdom that merges into one taste with the ultimate truth. Luminosity endowed with its own nature is called self-luminous by nature. What is that? It is the body of the Great Vajradhara, the embodiment of non-dual wisdom. What is it like? Like the sky, etc. The word 'sky' closely represents the rainbow-like object existing within it, being equal and similar to it, it is the sky. Cause and effect, the two lights, are distinct in nature, but because they are non-dual, they are without characteristics. Because it decays and ends, it is changing. Because it is different from ending, it is unchanging, it is inexhaustible, and because it arises from it, it is unchanging. Due to the control of karma and afflictions, birth and cessation are the process until exhaustion and separation. Non-dual, not non-dual, peaceful, called the two. The two truths, the two lights, are inseparable in nature, being of one taste, therefore they are non-dual. Because it is the nature of uniting two, it is two, and it is not non-dual either. Because it is the characteristic of complete pacification of all suffering, it is peaceful. Because it is without outflows, it is extremely immaculate. Because the body is not an object to be touched, it is like the sky, this is said from the intended meaning. Thus, it is determined that the Dharmakaya luminosity of union and the Sambhogakaya are non-dual in nature, and thus it is determined. This is to explain the basis of the Nirmanakaya separately. Therefore, it is said, "For its family of hatred," and so on. Hatred is Akshobhya, which is the mind vajra. Its family is the lineage's teacher, the mandala of deities that necessarily arises from one's own nature, manifesting and transforming into the form of a woman, emerging from the body of the Bhagavan Vairochana, that is, manifesting. Because it is said so in this very text. Because in the first chapter of this root tantra, it is also said that Buddhas such as Vairochana also transform into the form of women. Therefore, for later practitioners, those who practice the deities such as Akshobhya should rely on their own mudra to offer with great bliss, therefore, they should generate great bliss for their own guru.
