It is necessary to know the generation ritual of the deity arising as the principal deity's form. Otherwise, the essential points of purifying the object to be purified through the path of the completion stage will be missed. Therefore, it is necessary to combine with the object to be purified, understand the essential points of the two stages, and generate firm conviction in how the first stage acts as the cause of the second. This is explained very clearly in the tradition of the noble Guhyasamaja, so it should be understood from there. The third (subsequent to the generation stage) has two parts: Inviting the wisdom being and expanding it, then making offerings and praises; and partaking of nectar and engaging in meditation recitation. The first part is: In this way, if the essential points of the ritual of generating the main deity are grasped, then understanding how to generate the retinue will be easy, thereby fulfilling the commitment being. Regarding this, eliminating the pride of an ordinary person, the nature of the appearance of one's own mind, the deity's form adorned with face and hands, is the commitment being (དམ་ཚིག་སེམས་དཔའ་,Samayasattva,समयासत्त्व,Vow Being). In the 'Man-nye,' in some places it is said that there is also a seed syllable, and in some places it is said that there is only a seed syllable. Therefore, there are two lineages: one is to regard the deity's form with the seed syllable as the commitment being, and the other is to regard only the seed syllable as the commitment being. The etymological explanation of the term 'commitment being' is: The Sanskrit equivalent of this term is Samayasattva, where 'sama' means to go completely, and 'mila' means to combine. In this way, the 'Man-nye' says, 'Because it has been regarded as its nature, it is the nature of non-dual wisdom, therefore the wisdom being completely goes into combination, this is the commitment.' This is the initial meaning of the terms commitment and being. The meaning of the term being is: Again, in that same text it says, 'Being also, because it benefits sentient beings, and because it is the realm of completely pure sentient beings.' It is like that. Then, if someone thinks, how can there be the meaning of sentient being in a seed syllable, then that text says, 'The seed syllable is also like a wriggling thing, it is a sentient being.' This demonstrates an example of how the name of a sentient being can be used even without the form of a face and hands. Although there are many or few deities arranged in the mandala, and there are many kinds, even if there are few deities, if one counts the deities of birthplaces, body, speech, mind, and blessings, etc., then for most qualified visualizations of the mandala circle, the number of deities who purify in relation to what is to be purified is also complete. Therefore, the mandala's

If one does not meditate on the wheel's practice method that is in accordance with the standard, it will be difficult to complete the key points of the generation stage for accomplishing the supreme. When the wisdom being enters, one should make the eyes, etc., of the samaya being and the eyes, etc., of the wisdom being indistinguishably mixed, even to the point of atoms, as it is said in the condensed version of that (referring to the Guhyasamaja Tantra), one should generate a firm conviction of equal taste. Thus, particularly believing that one is inseparable from all the Tathagatas is the meaning of believing in equality, and sometimes believing that one is also inseparable from sentient beings is for the sake of realizing that the thusness of self-nature is the same. Therefore, one should believe that the future wisdom being in one's own mindstream is one with oneself, and believe that the wisdom being in the mindstream of others is equality, as it is said in the Manjushri Nirdesa. The empowerment performed when inviting the wisdom being is mostly said to be water empowerment in the scriptures, and most of the water streams of the nature of bodhicitta are poured from a vase, and some say that they are poured from a skull cup, that is, using the water of wisdom to wash away all the defilements, including the habitual tendencies. Therefore, the essence of the empowerment remains on the crown of the head, acting as a seal, and this also changes according to the difference in lineage. In the practice method of Padmasambhava and the commentary on the Abhisamaya of Lui-pa, it is also said that Jowo (Atisha) performed four empowerments and then made a seal. Here, if one understands the methods of sealing mentioned in the Manjushri Nirdesa, one can understand the general meaning of sealing, so these will be explained. Holding it on the crown of the head with respect is making a seal, and this is not making them suffer, but only satisfying them. The lineage lord making a seal is the meaning of the son following the father, knowing that he was born from him. Among them, for the mutual sealing of the six Buddhas, Akshobhya seals the four, such as Vairochana, because Akshobhya is the mind, and the four, form, feeling, perception, and formation, are exhausted in the body of mind-only, therefore, it is for the purpose of knowing that these four are the mind. Abhidhamma does not acknowledge external objects, and also considers the three, feeling, etc., to be states of mind, that is, for the self-natured one, sealing with self-nature.
