Although it is considered to point to the same thing, it is not considered necessary to be attached to it. The ritual of shooting arrows is as follows: Then, recite "The bow arising from the letter ཧོཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: होः, Romanized Sanskrit: hoḥ, literal Chinese meaning: roar) ཧོཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: होः, Romanized Sanskrit: hoḥ, literal Chinese meaning: roar)", and bless it, reciting "སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏཱ་ན་ཨ་ནུ་རཱ་ག་ཡཱ་སྭ་(Tibetan, Devanagari: सर्बतथागतानामनुरागया, Romanized Sanskrit: sarbatathāgatānāmanurāgayā, literal Chinese meaning: all tathagatas delight)", or recite "May all the Tathagatas be pleased", and bless it. When the disciple shoots the arrow, the Vajra Master also recites it in the same way. Although it is not explicitly stated here that the arrow arises from ཧོཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: होः, Romanized Sanskrit: hoḥ, literal Chinese meaning: roar), Darika says, "The bow and arrow purified by ཧོཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: होः, Romanized Sanskrit: hoḥ, literal Chinese meaning: roar), give it to the disciple's hand." Therefore, both arise from ཧོཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: होः, Romanized Sanskrit: hoḥ, literal Chinese meaning: roar). The disciple also recites "སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏཱན་ཨ་ནུ་རཱ་ག་ཡཱ་མི་(Tibetan, Devanagari: सर्बतथागतानुरागयामि, Romanized Sanskrit: sarbatathāgatānurāgayāmi, literal Chinese meaning: I delight all tathagatas)", with the intention of piercing obstacles, shoots four arrows in four directions, one each above and below, for a total of six arrows. Thus, the vase empowerment, where is the mandala obtained? It is obtained in the mandala of the drawing and the body, as stated in the "Seven Unions": "The karma of drawing and the body, is obtained in the mandala itself." What is one empowered for? First, one is empowered for the practice of the three samadhis such as union, and the limbs such as fire offerings, as stated therein: "The three unions with limbs, are truly shown therein, the appearance of objects such as form, is realized by emptiness." What is purified? The impurities of the body are purified, eliminating the previously accumulated ones, and liberating from the future, as stated therein: "Killing life, etc., before and after, purity and sin do not change." And it is said that the body Vajra is purified in the "Clarity of Union", as stated in the "Seven Unions": "Its own nature, is the nature of the body Vajra." Thus, Dayspring also says. Dayspring says that the vase empowerment is the nature of the Nirmanakaya, because the special seed of the Nirmanakaya, places its power through dusk, therefore one should have faith in the Nirmanakaya. The vows of the vase empowerment are: to protect the fourteen root downfalls and the eight gross downfalls, so the Tibetan scholars believe. The etymology is, as stated in the "Seven Unions": "Because it is suitable as a vessel, it is the vase empowerment, because it pours, burns, and purifies, it is empowerment, this is the true tantric order, the holy words are definitely spoken." That is, it is said to be suitable as a vessel, and acts like the form of pouring, as well as burning and purifying.
