Differentiating the meditation on wisdom, such as emptiness, into different categories is done in terms of the meditators who repeat the four families, such as the Tathagata family, which will be explained later. The second part has four points: the way to meditate on the Tathagata family, the way to meditate on the Vajra family, the way to meditate on the Ratna family, and the way to meditate on the Padma family. The first point is: Meditate on yourself as the body of the Buddha Vairochana and so on, and also meditate in the same way in front, and think of the letters of the mantra in your heart. Then, determine that both yourself and the deity in front are without self in terms of person and phenomena, and after gaining certainty about the absence of inherent existence, you should meditate single-mindedly with samadhi that is without the appearance of individual forms and so on. From the peak: Reciting the Tathagata family, the Buddha himself dwells auspiciously, In this three thousand world, one should meditate on the body of the Buddha. In the heart of that Buddha, meditate on the letters of your own mantra. Your own body is without self, phenomena and person are emptiness. What is the body of that Buddha? One should also think of it as without self. What is this form of the Buddha? Its nature is not existent. The Buddha called a person does not exist, it is neither aggregates nor elements. Grasping and being grasped are not Buddha, it is not that there is no Buddha either, the seeds of the six perfections, are purified by wisdom. The yogi without a basis of all, that is enlightenment, holding onto no self. With such a yoga, if one recites the Tathagata family, one will quickly accomplish great joy in a great kalpa. So it is said. The second point is: Meditate on yourself as Vajrasattva, and in front also meditate on the form of the Vajra pervading the sky, and place the letter in its center. Then, by observing the dharanis and so on separately, after gaining certainty about the absence of inherent existence, you should abide single-mindedly and meditate. From the peak: Then reciting the Vajra family, one's self becomes Vajrasattva. In this three thousand world, one should meditate on the form of the Vajra. In the center of the Vajra, meditate on the letters of the knowledge mantra. That Vajra is also without substance, it is the fruit of the mind of enlightenment.

It is a son! Why is it called Vajra? That which is immutable, why is it called Thatness? What is called emptiness, the nature of reality? Meditate on all phenomena such as form as being empty. If form is analyzed into particles, then the so-called particle does not exist. It is said that form is emptiness, that is also called Vajra. Thus, by this yoga, supreme joy is quickly attained. Thus it is said. The third is, visualize oneself as Vajra Jewel and the letters in the sky in front. Then, when certainty is gained in understanding the meaning of establishing the non-reality of the apprehended and the apprehender in equality, one should meditate single-pointedly. The summit says: Then recite the Jewel family. Oneself becomes Vajra Jewel. Meditate on this three-thousandfold world as emptiness. The yogi in that sky, contemplate the letters of the knowledge mantra. Phenomena are called unreal, emptiness is suchness. The form that is separately observed externally and internally, is temporarily unborn. Where there is no form, how is it called an eye? Since form and eye do not exist, consciousness does not arise. Just like the eye, everything is, abandoning the grasper and the grasped. By this method of yoga, it is the best of achieving supreme joy. Thus it is said. The fourth is, visualize oneself as the Lord of the World (Avalokiteśvara) and in front, lotuses pervading the sky, and write letters. Then, when certainty is gained in understanding the meaning of establishing all dharmas as without self or other, one should practice. The summit says: Then recite the Lotus family. Oneself becomes the Lotus Mind. Meditate on this three-thousandfold world as the form of a lotus. In that great lotus, contemplate the letters of the knowledge mantra. From that lotus, the wise contemplate the essence of the Dharma. The lotus is not stained by water, nor is it defiled by the faults of mud. Likewise, all dharmas are pure, the Dharmadhatu is primordially unborn. What is this Tathagatagarbha? This is the emptiness nature of reality. The nature of reality of all dharmas such as form, is called suchness. By this method of yoga, great yoga, great asceticism, in this very life one can become a Buddha.
