It says in the [text]: "If the sign of the blissful touch of the subtle vajra arises, that sign is the pervader, and the mind should pervade everywhere. As much as desired, the mind pervades, and it will also pervade the three realms." It is said that when one sees one's entire body pervaded by the power of meditating on the form of the subtle vajra, if one wishes to expand it, then it is expanded from cities and so on to the three realms, as stated in the Upper Commentary. The method of expansion is as follows: Reciting "Sphara Vajra (藏文,梵文天城体:स्फारवज्र,梵文罗马拟音:sphāra vajra,汉语字面意思:Expanding Vajra)," like blowing dust with a wind mandala, many subtle vajras are scattered and gradually pervade, as explained in the Avatar. After contemplating in this way for a long time, reciting "Samharana Vajra (藏文,梵文天城体:संहारणवज्र,梵文罗马拟音:saṃhāraṇa vajra,汉语字面意思:Gathering Vajra)," experiencing the touch of gathering into the wind, gathering from the tip of the nose to the nostrils, making it into one vajra and meditating on it, as stated in the first section: "Then, that is also gathered, and it remains at the tip of the nose." Then, from the tip of the nose, insert it into the right nostril, place it in the heart, and make it stable, as explained in the Ornament of Kosala, reciting "Om Dhri Dha Tishtha (藏文,梵文天城体:ओं धृढ तिष्ठ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ dhṛḍha tiṣṭha,汉语字面意思:Om, Steady, Abide)." First, focus on the subtle, search for it, and when it is accomplished, this practice of various expansion and contraction techniques is a special cause of mental pliancy, so merely maintaining the place and power is not the same. One month for expansion and so on, and if practiced for three months, the subtle samadhi is perfected, as explained in the Upper Commentary. If one understands the subtle yoga extensively explained in the Root Commentary, which summarizes that, then during the realization of Guhyasamaja and the Holy Assembly, it seems very special to accomplish the first stage of abiding and then practice many techniques. There are three aspects to the second: the way it is taught from the Condensed [Tantra] itself, the way it is taught from the Explanatory Tantra, and a brief explanation of the way of meditation. The first is: In the Condensed [Tantra] itself, it says: "By entering the letter A (藏文,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A), contemplate all letters. From one's own mouth to another's mouth, if you meditate, you will attain accomplishment. It is called wisdom determination, it is known as samadhi. By that, the mudra should be accomplished, if you meditate, it will be quickly accomplished. Wisdom follows the sound, the words of samadhi radiate greatly. By meditating on that, quickly, secret mantra"

Accomplishments will be attained. The differences between secret mantras and vidyā-mantras are not that there are differences, but through the cultivation of wisdom, accomplishments will be swiftly attained. It is said that although the word "essence" does not appear in the first verse, the four verses are, in order, based on essence, mudra, secret mantra, and vidyā-mantra, cultivating the wisdom that realizes suchness, as stated in the Avatarā. Among them, "A" is the door of all dharmas because of birth, as it is said, so the meaning of "A" refers to the absence of inherent birth. In this way, all the letters of the mantras to be recited should also be contemplated through reasoning that establishes the absence of self in all dharmas, that is, observe and make them disappear. "Kha" has the same meaning as door and entering, and is called one's own entering and another's entering. Since it enters the meaning of "A," one should also enter into non-appearance, and then the deity in front should also enter into non-appearance. If the meaning of "Kha" is door, then the deity's form contemplated in oneself and in front is the door of liberation, so it is called the door of oneself and others, and entering into these two is the same as before. This treatise does not establish the deity in oneself and in front, as well as the letters of the mantra, as suchness, but rather examines them separately, mainly explaining the wisdom of conceptualization that is transmitted from one to another. The determination of wisdom is focused on the ultimate truth, so it is called samādhi, which is to prevent the completely differentiating conceptualizations and to abide slightly in equality. The three also have the word samādhi, and the fourth is similar to this, so the teachers say that the latter three mainly explain calm abiding and insight or mainly explain calm abiding, as stated in the Avatarā. Although it explains the two main ways of analytical meditation and stabilizing meditation, both must be equally practiced when practicing. The letters of the mantra follow the vowels, and without the scattered conceptualizations that are transmitted from one to another, abiding single-pointedly is the wisdom practice of secret mantra. Vidyā-mantra is also the same as this, and the letters of these two appear to be different, but they should be made without difference through the reasoning of examining the absence of inherent existence. After determining the meaning of the deity in oneself and in front, as well as the recited mantras, as being without inherent existence, the four are the same in practice,
