Furthermore, therefore, it is called the month that does not change its name. To this, focus on the arrangement of the letters of the mantra, and then meditate only on the tone of the sound. Therefore, this is different from focusing on the sound of the four limbs of recitation, because there, one first rests the mind on the Buddha image and then focuses only on the sound, while here, one first rests the mind on the letters and then focuses on the sound. The distinction made in the commentary is made from the perspective of the object. The main difference is that previously, one focused on the faults of verbal recitation and then focused on the tone of the sound, while here, it is not one's own form of utterance, but rather one focuses on the tone of the mantra. Because these are repeatedly mentioned in meditations that do not rely on recitation. At this time, it is also explained from the commentary on breath control that stops the life force. The second part is divided into two parts: the order of abandoning the state of sound, and the actual meditation on the end of sound. The first part is: the end of sound is the very nature of remaining only on the sound of the mantra, and also the completely abandoned non-dual end. If one meditates on this, one will be liberated from the two obscurations and attain the liberation of the nature of the Dharmakaya. Furthermore, in the subsequent meditation it says: "Dependence is said to be a limb, sound is called and of mind, words are all pure, Vidyā-mantra is free, abandoning limbs, the Victor knows." This shows the order in which the meditation on the end of sound, which gives the liberation of the Dharmakaya, is given through the habituation of what kind of path sequence. Therefore, it clearly shows the general order of the path and the boundary of where to meditate in which stage of emptiness. The commentary says: "Yogis who have entered the practice of secret mantra, the secret mantra appears as a limb, and the state of sound being called and of mind, and words being completely pure, through the order of complete abandonment, the Dharmakaya should be manifested. Therefore, it is said that if one meditates on the end of sound, which is the nature of the Dharmadhatu, one will give liberation." So it is said. To this, in Vidyā-mantra it is only symbolic, so secret mantra should also be included, and the masters of these two are: the forms of the goddess and the god that one is to accomplish. Its limbs are those parts or states related to those deities, and abandoning those states are those states.

are gradually abandoned. Among the four, the first is: depending on life force, asceticism, and meditation, etc., the mantra practitioner appears as a part of his own deity, that is, his own body appears as the deity's body. The second is: the limb called sound, that is, the stage of whispering the mantra. The third is: the limb of mind, that is, the stage of reciting the mantra with the mind. The fourth is: the purification of the two words of whispering and mental recitation, that is, the meditation of the fire position and the sound position that are free from the two, and the image of the sound of the mantra appears in the mind. The way to abandon these is: first make the former stable, and then transfer to the latter, as it is said in the commentary: For those who want to be liberated, the order of gradual abandonment is: for example, by re-collecting, asceticism, and meditation, as well as life and strength, etc., focus on the image of one's own deity, and stabilize the extremely inflated samadhi. Then, completely abandon the extremely coarse samadhi that focuses on the sound of the secret mantra that is whispered, and stabilize the coarse samadhi. Also, completely abandon the samadhi that focuses on the coarse with the subtle samadhi of the sound of the mind. And, after completely abandoning it, abide in the samadhi of the extremely subtle distinction of the secret mantra. Also, completely abandon it, and those who want to be liberated should strive to focus on the samadhi of the Dharmakaya. It is said so. In this way, after gradually abandoning the four limbs, if emptiness is practiced, liberation can be given, and this order is known by the Victorious One. Or, calling "How wonderful! Lord of Knowledge Mantras," if those limbs are abandoned, one can become a Victorious One who knows the distinction of the meaning of mantras, and if one acts according to the latter of the two statements, it is in accordance with the essential point of "giving liberation at the end of sound." If the body of the deity must also be abandoned, then why is it said that "the end of sound" is only abandoning sound? If the body of the deity must also be abandoned, then why is it said that "the end of sound" is only abandoning sound? Because abandoning the first limb is abandoning the place of the sound of the mantra, because the mantra practitioner who appears as the deity is the one who recites the mantra. Abandoning the two middle limbs is abandoning the manifestation of the sound of the mantra, and abandoning the last limb is the nature of the sound of the mantra.
