Po are Manjushri, Avalokiteshvara, and Vajrapani. The mothers of the three families are Locana, Pandaravasini, and Mamaki. Thirdly, when the number of recitations in a session is completed or exceeded, place the middle finger on the back of the right ring finger. Also place the middle finger on the back of the left ring finger and join them together. The right index finger wraps around the left middle and ring fingers, and the left index finger also wraps around the right middle and ring fingers. The two little fingers are aligned and raised, and the two thumbs are placed on the middle joints of the index fingers, forming the outer seal of the vase. May this root of virtue of ours be offered to the Bhagavan as the cause for such and such great accomplishment. Please, protector, grant such and such accomplishment, thus dedicating the merit. It is an unexamined statement to say that when not reciting with this mudra, the mala is offered, and when reciting, it is taken back. Then, apologize for any shortcomings in performing the ritual according to the tantra, and perform offerings and praises as before. From the mudra of invocation, extending the two thumbs outwards is the mudra of dismissal. After each of their respective heart mantras or the general heart mantra, add "gaccha" and dismiss everything including the celestial palace. Then, place the right palm on top of the left palm, which is facing upwards, with the tips of the crossed fingers touching the wrists, and place it on the thangka. This is the mudra of unequal limbs, rotating from the left side, and by reciting "Om Hulu Hulu Candali Matamgi Pili Svaha," dissolve the previously made directional boundaries and so on. Then, read scriptures such as the Prajnaparamita, contemplate the six recollections, and construct mandalas and stupas, etc. Just as every day, wash the offering vessels and sweep away the offered flowers three times a day. Praise, wash, incense, or perform smoke offerings for the monastic robes and other garments three times a day, and always wear the monastic robes except when listening to recitations, fire offerings, and offerings, etc., and related matters. Except for sleeping and bathing, do not discard the undergarments, and keep them free from dust. The mantra is: Om Raksha Raksha Mam Sarva Buddha Adhisthana Atma Civara

namaścaṇḍa vajra bāṇa ye। mahā yakṣa sena pataye। om śikhi śikhi। nirmale। prabhe svare। tejobati svāhā।

It is "Svāhā." Just as it is said in the scriptures to offer a torma to the earth deities during the recitation, a torma should also be offered. A red thread spun by a girl, dyed with madder or saffron, should have seven knots tied in it, and the mantra "Oṃ ā hara ā hara bandhani śukra dharaṇi siddharte svāhā" (藏文:ༀ་ཨཱ་ཧ་ར་ཨཱ་ཧ་ར་བནྡྷཱ་ནི་ཤུ་ཀྲ་དྷ་ར་ཎི་སིདྡྷ་རྠེ་སྭཱཧཱ།,梵文天城体:ओम् आ हर आ हर बन्धनि शुक्र धरणि सिद्धर्ते स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ ā hara ā hara bandhani śukra dharaṇi siddharte svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om, bring, bring, bind, semen, dharani, accomplished meaning, svāhā) should be recited a thousand times. At night, it should be tied around the waist to prevent nocturnal emissions. In this way, one should bathe at the three times of morning, noon, and afternoon, and perform the recitation ritual as previously described. Fasting for one day every half month, and consuming milk, yogurt, butter, and bile from a red-yellow cow, that is, the five products of a cow, along with kusha grass and water, reciting it a hundred times, facing east and squatting. Drinking about three measures in any offering vessel will purify one within half a month. The "Stages of Accomplishment" states that all impure things that have been eaten will be cleansed. The mantras are: Namo bhagavate uṣṇīṣāya aṃ biśuddhe bīraja śi biśanti kare svāhā (藏文:ན་མོ་བྷ་ག་ཝ་ཏེ་ཨུཥྞཱི་ཥཱ་ཡ་ཨཾ་བི་ཤུདྡྷེ་བཱི་ར་ཛ་ཤི་བི་ཤནྟི་ཀ་རེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:नमो भगवते उष्णीषाय अं बिशुद्धे बीरज शि बिशन्ति करे स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:namo bhagavate uṣṇīṣāya aṃ biśuddhe bīraja śi biśanti kare svāhā,汉语字面意思:Homage to the Bhagavan, Uṣṇīṣa, Aṃ, completely pure, without dust, peaceful, pacifying, Svāhā), Oṃ yaśo jo svāhā (藏文:ༀ་ཡ་ཤོ་ཇོ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:ओम् यशो जो स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ yaśo jo svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om, fame, light, Svāhā), Namor ratna trayāya, namaścaṇḍa vajra bāṇaye, mahā yakṣa sena pataye, oṃ śikhi śikhi, nirmale, prabhe svare, tejobati svāhā (藏文:ན་མོར་རཏྣ་ཏྲ་ཡཱ་ཡ། ན་མཥྩནྜ་བཛྲ་བཱ་ཎ་ཡེ། མཧཱ་ཡཀྵ་སེ་ན་པ་ཏ་ཡེ། ༀ་ཤི་ཁི་ཤི་ཁི། ནིར་མ་ལེ། པྲ་བྷེ་སྭ་རེ། ཏེ་ཛོ་བ་ཏི་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:नमोर रत्न त्रयाय। namaścaṇḍa vajra bāṇa ye। mahā yakṣa sena pataye। om śikhi śikhi। nirmale। prabhe svare। tejobati svāhā。 Homage to the Three Jewels. Homage to the Wrathful Vajra Arrow. To the Great Yaksha, Commander of the Army. Om, flame, flame. Immaculate. Radiant sound. Radiant one, Svāhā), these three mantras are for the three families in order. The second part has two sections: explaining the meditation on the fire and sound places, and explaining the meditation on the end of sound. The first part is: In the "Later Meditation" it says: "The secret mantra fire place gives accomplishment, remember that the sound place gives yoga, the end of sound itself gives liberation. These are the three realities." Here, the three realities of the fire place, the sound place, and the end of sound are spoken of. The commentary states that the practice of meditating on the six deities should be done before both meditations, and here it is also said that the forms of the secret mantra and knowledge mantra should be manifested. Therefore, in generating this meditation, one should first gain a clear appearance through the six deities, and be able to continuously abide in it, and the deity yoga should also be clearly established. Among these, the meditation on the fire place is described in the "Later Meditation": "All things arising from non-discrimination, the wise should bind to themselves. The mantra practitioner abides beyond the limbs, and meditates without attachment. The sound is called a garland, the letters are strung together and do not change."
