If it exists, then the Vajrayana also becomes like that. The so-called "Causal Vehicle" refers to not constructing a path that resembles the four fruits mentioned earlier, but only practicing the causes of those fruits. The third part is divided into two parts: raising doubts about the place where doubts arise for those with realization, and answering those doubts. The first part is: If the Great Vehicle is divided into two vehicles, through what means is this divided? It is not divided through the generation of bodhicitta, because Bodhisattvas practice through the means of mantras and perfections, both of which enter into practice in order to attain complete Buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient beings, which is the same. Therefore, there is no superior or inferior in the Bodhi to be sought, so it is not appropriate to divide the two vehicles through this point either. Nor is it through the presence or absence of the view of realizing the suchness of all dharmas, because the meaning elucidated by the Prajnaparamita and so on, the noble Nagarjuna has already determined in the Madhyamaka treatises, there is no view more excellent than this. Even if there were, it could not be used to establish that there are separate vehicles, just as the Madhyamaka and Cittamatra schools both belong to the Great Vehicle of the Paramitas, but there are no separate vehicles between them. In terms of the practice of the six perfections, both vehicles have practice. Therefore, there is no difference in the two main aspects of the path to accomplish the two bodies, skillful means and wisdom, and although there are some differences in the path that are not present in the Paramita Vehicle, they are not the main differences of the path, so these differences alone cannot determine that they are different vehicles. Just as some people have sharp or dull faculties, and some people travel the path quickly or slowly, it cannot be determined that they are different vehicles, because there are many such differences in the Paramita Vehicle, but there are no different vehicles. Otherwise, the Mantra Vehicle itself would also need to establish many different vehicles, is that so? The second part is divided into two parts: refuting the extreme views conceived by others, and establishing the correct existing view. The first part is: Some say that mantras are taught for the purpose of subduing beings with attachment, and Paramitas are taught for the purpose of subduing beings without attachment, therefore practicing the path without abandoning attachment to desirable qualities, and purifying attachment.

The reason for distinguishing the path of practice into two vehicles is as follows. It is said. This should be explained: If we distinguish the disciples of these two vehicles by whether they cultivate the path without abandoning attachment to desirable qualities, or cultivate the path of abandoning attachment, then since both have both, this difference cannot distinguish the individual vehicles. For example, there are many lay bodhisattvas who have entered the path of the Paramita Vehicle who have not abandoned improper conduct, and skillful means such as the Brahmin boy Star, when related to great benefit to others, are often allowed to engage in improper conduct. Moreover, among the disciples of the Mantra Vehicle, there are also many who have abandoned craving for desirable qualities. Otherwise, it would be impossible to be liberated from desire until enlightenment, or even after enlightenment, it would become a fault of not abandoning it. If it is thought that whichever of the disciples of these two is not, their own uncommon or main disciples are taken as the standard for initially entering that path, and that it is only permissible to cultivate the path of that vehicle without deliberately abandoning attachment to desirable qualities, but not whether attachment can be a companion on the path and become a cause of liberation. If you think so, then like "play, look, and hold hands," etc., as will be explained below, it must be admitted that among the disciples of the four tantras, there are those who rely on the four types of attachment to desirable qualities and take joy as the path. However, if such a difference is applied as a difference in the individuals who initially enter these two vehicles, it is acceptable, but it is not a distinguishing factor of the vehicle. Similarly, the difference between whether the path is adorned with bliss or not, and whether it touches the vital points of body and mind, cannot distinguish the two vehicles. If it is said that cultivating that path will produce physical bliss and special joy in the mind, and that through it, the mind will remain stable on the object, then it is adorned with bliss. Then, for all those who initially achieve calm abiding, first the physical winds will become workable, and this will generate physical pliancy, at which time there will be great bliss in the body, and then through it, a special joy will arise in the mind, and relying on it, the mind will calmly abide on the object, as stated in the Earth Chapter. Therefore, this exists in both the inner and outer calm abiding, so it
