The deity yoga that appears as the form of union. Although there are many differences in the path in Anuttarayoga, it is named as the "Tantra of Union," and the tantra itself also speaks a lot about the form of union. Through this, by making attachment the path, relying on the key point of the union of the two bodhicittas, the realization of emptiness becomes extraordinary. Because of the lack of such a special method of making attachment the path, the union limb among the seven limbs is not mentioned in the lower three tantras. Nevertheless, there are cases where the joy arising from frolicking, looking, embracing, or hugging is used as the path, so in general, there is only a slight attachment to sensual pleasures as the path. As it is said in the twenty-fifth chapter of the Garland of Ears: "The tantras of the four, namely action, conduct, yoga, and supreme yoga, are represented by frolicking, looking, embracing, pairs, and holding hands." Thus, in some action tantras and so on, the gods reveal attachment after wisdom and means, which is looking. Some are smiling. Some are holding hands. Some are embracing. Some are pairs. And in the third chapter of the Later Examination, it says: "By frolicking and looking, embracing and likewise pairs, the tantras are also of four kinds." In its commentary, it says: "The four refers to the action, conduct, yoga, and supreme yoga tantras, which are represented by frolicking, looking, embracing, and union. Thus, in the action tantras and so on, some are smiles that show the gods of means and wisdom subsequently revealing attachment, some are subsequently looking, some are embracing, and some are two and two." As Shantipa said. In this regard, connecting the gods with looking, for frolicking and so on, the viewer should also be the gods. If you want to know what the function of looking and so on is, it is said that "revealing attachment after wisdom and means," that is, representing the male and female deities being mutually attached. However, since it is impossible for deities such as Vairochana and Buddhalochana to have attachment, here it refers to the pride of that deity.

It is necessary to do this for the practitioner of desire: Because transforming the attachment of all those to be tamed in the tantras to views etc. into the path is the meaning of the present moment. From Kriya Tantra, Charya Tantra, etc., it is said that male and female deities look at each other, etc. If it is not combined with those to be tamed, it is impossible to identify the differences of those to be tamed through these methods. Moreover, not only is recklessness etc. spoken of in the Unsurpassed Tantra, but the basis of these is also spoken of in the Lower Tantra. Meaning, In the Detailed Ritual of the Lasso, it says: "The face of the Bhagavan should be turned towards the angry frown." And, "On the right side, the goddess Tara, with shyness, bends her body and her eyes are fixed on the mudra of supreme giving." On the left, the beauty of the lotus family, with shyness, is in accordance with the practice of secret mantras, and her eyes are fixed on the unfailing lasso." And, in the Manifest Enlightenment, it says: "On his right is the goddess, who is called Buddha Eye. The goddess has a slightly smiling face, a mandala full of light, an incomparable body that is extremely bright, she is the mother of Shakyamuni." And, "The powerful Avalokiteshvara sits on a white lotus seat, like a conch shell and jasmine, the moon, Amitabha Buddha dwells on his head, his face is slightly smiling, on his right is the goddess Tara, the great fame, who brings auspiciousness and eliminates fear." And, in the Summit Tantra, it says: "The goddess Vajra makes a kaka sound, embracing her own goddess in the center, her head leaning on his chest, looking around with a smile, grasping the hand of the Bhagavan." And, in the Supreme First, it says: "Next to him is the great Vajra, the arrow is devoted to shooting, completely embracing with an affectionate hand, raising the makara banner." These are just examples, when the practitioner is practicing, whatever deity is visualized, they must look at each other, etc., By looking at postures etc., the joy and bliss arising from mutual attachment is transformed into the path. Moreover, this is not done from the Lower Tantra with an external consort as the object, nor is it said to be done from the Upper Tantra, but it is done to the goddess Eye Mother etc. who is practiced by oneself. Because the ability of those to be tamed is weak, great desire is transformed into the path.
