The moon placed in front of the heart is the third branch. The sound is: the mantra garland in which the mantra to be recited is placed on the moon is the fourth branch. To be devoted to these is: the reciter clings in a way that is uninterruptedly focused. In this way, the object of one's own focus is also because the practice is very familiar, it must be something that does not diminish from the appearance of the deity, so it is said to abide in the unchanging object. It is the object of placing the secret mantra of sound and mind. In short, as mentioned before, restrain the breath, and recite with the four complete branches of recitation, focusing on all three branches in front at the same time, and when exhaling, look at the body that has been meditated as one's own deity, and do it as before. Resting is for the sake of dispelling distraction, and the basis for resting is the body of fruition, that is, letting go of the thought of one's own body as the body of the deity, and rising up thinking of it as the body of fruition. The order of letting go is: the sound of the letters of the mantra being recited is let go by focusing on the letters. The letters are also let go by focusing on the moon without them. The moon is: let go by focusing on the unique body of the Tathagata. The body in front is also thought of as the unique body of one's own deity. That is also let go by focusing on its letters. That is also let go by focusing on its sound. The sound is also let go by focusing on the wisdom body of the deity. Thinking of the wisdom body is also let go by thinking of the Dharma body. That is also done on the suchness of the unthinkable self. That is also thinking of all appearances such as illusions and mirages as the body of fruition, this is the meaning of resting for oneself. The others are easy to understand, the meaning of one's own deity's body focusing on the letters and so on is: the letter deity and the sound deity and the lunar mandala at the time of the initial generation of the deity, and generating pride in the oneness of oneself and the deity's suchness, and viewing one's own suchness as being free from elaboration and so on. Here, it is said that resting is done for the sake of dispelling distraction, so if one is distracted by elaboration, one gradually gathers the objects of focus and finally abides in equanimity in emptiness, and then rises up like an illusion, so one does not hold onto the pride of the deity when releasing the session.

It should not be done that way. Other teachers who practice deity sadhana based on the Kriya Tantra also explain all conduct with great pride of the deity. Secondly, in the Uttaratantra it says, "Unchanging and endowed with letters, from base to base, likewise, whatever is contemplated outwards from one's own mantra, one should contemplate the purity of mind." This shows that. Among them, "likewise" shows a different way of focusing from the previous one, and one should contemplate the purity of mind. Because it arises from the mind, it is of the mind, that is, the moon in the heart. It is pure because it is not defiled by the stains of attachment, etc., and all parts are complete and appear without stains. That is also connected with the garland of letters of the mantra, that is, it appears clearly because it is extremely practiced, and because it is unchanging, the letters are unchanging. That which appears as the moon of the mind, which is also connected with letters, is also unchanging and inseparable, so it is unchanging and complete. Such a moon is also contemplated for the purpose of establishing the place for placing one's own mantra. In short, as mentioned before, after restraining the life force, not too high in front of oneself, slightly higher than one's own height. In the heart of the base where the body of the Tathagata is meditated, the moon where the mantra garland is placed dwells, and that becomes the base for meditating oneself as the deity, that is, when the breath enters, it moves together to one's own heart, and focuses on it. Recitation is done until the breath is released, and when the breath is released, it is released outwards together with it, and one contemplates that it dwells in the heart of the deity. Again, as before, one moves to one's own heart and recites. Secondly, in the Uttaratantra it says, "Again, by gathering, one summons, the mind that binds life and effort, secret mantra wisdom is joined to the mantra, one should begin the recitation of the mind. By this very ritual, or one may whisper, one who desires mantra wisdom and accomplishment, recitation should not be done elsewhere." Thus it is said, that is, with the mind that focuses on the sound of the secret mantra, one recites by connecting it with the mantra. That is also the mind that has not entered into samadhi, letting it run naturally, gathering it inwards again and summoning it, and doing it by restraining the life force as before. These are the four limbs of recitation, first clarifying, and then not focusing on the shape of the mantra to be recited and the moon, etc., but
