The spoken words should not be subject to dullness or excitement, and apart from the thoughts of that very moment, it should be able to proceed continuously without being interrupted by other conceptualizations. Furthermore, it should be done in a way that the meanings of those thoughts are clearly remembered, rather than just remaining at the level of general words. In order to achieve this, one must first determine the number and order of the meditations to be practiced, and then make a strong determination not to deviate from that goal, and it is necessary to do it with a strong intention, and it is not permissible to just do whatever comes to mind. It should be understood by everyone that dividing a short period of time and then practicing the remainder in the same way as before. These are all accumulating merit and practicing emptiness, which is accumulating wisdom, as Shantipa's 'Black Enemy Manifestation' and Man Nye and others have said. The accumulation of wisdom is the mantra meaning of practicing emptiness (Tibetan: ཤཱུ་ནྱ་ཏཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: शून्यता, Sanskrit Romanization: shunyata, Literal Chinese meaning: emptiness) and so on, or self-nature (Tibetan: སྭ་བྷཱ་བ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वभाव, Sanskrit Romanization: svabhava, Literal Chinese meaning: self-nature) and so on. Here, the mantra practitioner observes that sentient beings are tightly bound by the net of views, and thinks: Alas, what darkness of ignorance makes these sentient beings, who have the nature of nirvana, unable to realize it themselves? I must make these sentient beings realize their own nature. Thinking in this way, cultivate the ultimate bodhicitta. The Kunsang says: With compassion, observe that this entire world is bound by the net of views, and for them, the incomparable true bodhicitta, the mantra practitioner should practice in this way. Among them, emptiness (Tibetan: ཤཱུ་ནྱ་ཏཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: शून्यता, Sanskrit Romanization: shunyata, Literal Chinese meaning: emptiness) refers to the emptiness of phenomena because they are devoid of self-nature, cause, and effect. Jnana (Tibetan: ཛྙཱ་ན།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ज्ञान, Sanskrit Romanization: jnana, Literal Chinese meaning: wisdom) refers to the emptiness of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, and the mind that is of one taste with it. Vajra (Tibetan: བཛྲ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra, Literal Chinese meaning: vajra) refers to the inseparability of the emptiness of the object and the wisdom of the subject, which is the vajra, because it cannot be broken by opposing factors, and it can destroy opposing factors, and it has no beginning or end. Just as the dharmadhatu has no beginning or end, the mind that focuses on it is also called that, because it focuses on suchness, it has its nature. Svabhava (Tibetan: སྭ་བྷཱ་བ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वभाव, Sanskrit Romanization: svabhava, Literal Chinese meaning: self-nature) refers to self-nature, which is the purity of self-nature, abiding in the self-nature that is free from sudden defilements. Atma (Tibetan: ཨཱཏྨ་ཀ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: आत्म, Sanskrit Romanization: atma, Literal Chinese meaning: self) and Aham (Tibetan: ཨ་ཧཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अहं, Sanskrit Romanization: aham, Literal Chinese meaning: I) refer to "I am", which means the self-nature is pure.

That itself is what is meant by 'that is me.' Therefore, the term 'wisdom of emptiness' refers to the general object of realizing emptiness by oneself, but it particularly inclines towards the ultimate nature of the dharma's own characteristic. The term 'vajra' also inclines towards the ultimate purity. The term 'nature' means that even at the ultimate time, there is no excess in the purity of nature. The terms 'self' and 'I' indicate that the purity is established as inherently pure in that very purity itself. This is a presentation of Shantipa's view. The letters A, U, and Ma in the syllable Om represent one's own body, speech, and mind. Establishing the essence of these three as the nature of emptiness and compassion being of one taste. The Kunsang also states: 'Because it is devoid of essence, it is empty; likewise, because it is devoid of cause, it is without characteristics; because it is devoid of all thoughts, all things are definitely liberated from wishes.' At the end of explaining the three liberations, the meaning of that mantra is shown by that verse, which is the previous mantra recitation. The way in which meditating on the meaning of mantras such as Śūnya (Sanskrit: शून्य, emptiness) includes meditating on the meaning of the three doors of liberation is as follows: Sman Zhabs states that the three, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, are distinguished by the power of sound. In the ultimate sense, he says that the other two are included in the essence of emptiness alone. In the Collection of Enlightenment, it says: 'Because it is empty of self-nature, what is the use of signs for emptiness? Because all signs have been reversed, why should the wise make aspirations?' This is in accordance with what the protector Nagarjuna (མགོན་པོ་ཀླུ་སྒྲུབ།) said, so although three are explained, the other two are included in the liberation of emptiness itself. Furthermore, the meaning of establishing that all phenomena are without self-nature by the reasoning of one and many being separate. This was explained by Sman Zhabs and Dpal 'Bras rDo rJe. Here, the object of remembrance at this time, the view that thoroughly decides on the meaning of all phenomena being without self-nature, is Śūnyatā (Sanskrit: शून्यता, emptiness), and the subject is Jñāna (Sanskrit: ज्ञान, wisdom). Due to the power of ignorance, the ability to distinguish between object and subject is lost, and when they become indistinguishable like water poured into water, it is Vajra (Sanskrit: वज्र, diamond). Although this wisdom needs to newly generate the realization of the non-duality and freedom from elaboration of the nature of all phenomena, it is impossible to distinguish between the two, object and subject, separately at that time.
