Yeshe Drakpa said that he considered this and spoke of an infinite deity meditation. Although those of the highest faculty delight in non-dual wisdom, they have not abandoned attachment to desire. Because of being near the objects of desire, their minds are distracted and they cannot enter into samadhi, so the samaya mudra is given. That is the vidya with characteristics spoken of by others. For those who have particularly great desire and whose minds are not great in that alone, and who cannot calm their minds by any other means than that method, the karma mudra is spoken of. There, too, it is practiced by doing what is subsequently appropriate. On this, The Three Modes Lamp does not say what kind of faculty and what kind of karma mudra there is. Yeshe Drakpa said that for the last of the best, the samaya and karma mudras are optional. In reality, whether or not to engage in karma, or whether or not it is a vidya with all the characteristics, the intention of the two names is similar. Thus, the disciples who enter mantra, for the best faculty, regarding the desire for a vidya, there are two options, attachment and non-attachment, and for the latter, it is said to meditate on the Great Seal. For the former, regarding the external vidya, there are two options, attachment and non-attachment, and for the latter, to meditate on the wisdom seal, and for the former, it is considered to give both the samaya seal and the karma seal. This teacher's view is in accordance with his own view, and it is contradictory to consider that the main condition for the disciples of Anuttarayoga is that they must have a great attachment to the desire for external vidya. The distinction of sharp faculties is: the yogi of the four truths has a dull faculty because he does not know reality; the yogi of the Paramitas has a middling faculty because he is confused about the method. Those who practice in the door of mantra have a sharp faculty because they are not confused about anything. Others do things that would lead to bad migrations, but they practice with skillful means, and therefore attain the state of complete purification, so said the teacher Kṛpiṭaka Kamala. Yeshe Drakpa said: Whoever does not have manifest joy in meditating on the wisdom seal, etc., is because their wisdom is weak, so they do not meditate on the Great Seal. On this, Omniscient Panchen considered: By the name of the Great Seal, the form of Vajrasattva, etc., is definitely indicated. That is, because wisdom is weak, one cannot meditate on the Great Seal, and for those who do not like to meditate on the other three seals, the form of the deity is named the Great Seal to indicate.

It is said that this is the meditation of the Yoga Tantra. Through this, one should also understand the Kriya and Charya Tantras. It is also desired by the Paramitas that the two, skillful means of great compassion and wisdom that realizes the selflessness of phenomena, are the lifeblood of the path. If one gives away material possessions such as one's head, and fulfills all the desires of sentient beings, that is the Paramita of Giving. If one prohibits saying that the Paramita of Giving cannot be perfected, and eliminates stinginess towards all one's possessions and the defilement of clinging for oneself, and develops the mind of giving to the ultimate extreme, that is what is taught as the Paramita of Giving in the Paramita Vehicle. As it says in the Bodhicharyavatara: If giving to the poor beings is the Paramita of Giving, then since there have always been millions of poor beings, and saviors as numerous as mountains, it should have been perfected long ago. Giving all possessions, including the fruits, with a mind of generosity to all beings, that is what is taught as the Paramita of Giving, therefore, the nature of giving is the mind itself. Thus it is said. After that, it seems difficult to explain the difference of delusion, and it is also difficult to explain the difference of sharp faculties. If one does not consider skillful means as delusion, it is a repetition of the previous. If one wants to use desire as the path, then for the disciples of mantra, the most important thing is not to be angry, because the main disciples do not have this difference. The disciples who enter mantra are also first led to completion in stages, and then led to the second stage. When the completion stage is stable, one practices relying on a vidya, therefore it is said that there are many cases of attaining Buddhahood in that lifetime. Meditating on the wisdom mudra and the samaya mudra, etc., considering them as medium and lower faculties, is also difficult to establish. Therefore, those with intelligence should investigate these and so on. The Tibetan lamas have many skillful means because they have many activities such as pacifying. Saying that there is no difficulty, and explaining that desire is used as the path, is not found in the texts of both this teacher (Śāntarakṣita) and Yeshe Drakpa. The second part has three points: How many different doors are there to enter mantra? Identifying the differences that establish different entryways? And explaining how those who possess these differences progress on the path. The first point is, in the thirteenth chapter of the Guhyasamaja Tantra: For the inferior ones is the Kriya Tantra, for those without activity is the Yoga Tantra, the supreme yoga is the supreme being, the Anuttara Yoga.
