E. In the Gur Commentary, "Skillful means are the vows of bliss" is a correct translation. Here, it is in the context of showing that skillful means are the most supreme from the Paramita Vehicle, and for the reason that merely meditating on emptiness does not complete the skillful means. Because the skillful means to be added to the meditation on emptiness is said to be deity yoga, therefore, it should be known that meditating on the wheel of the mandala is the main skillful means for the Form Body. The distinction of that skillful means is that, of the two, bliss does not depend on asceticism. Regarding vows, although many ways of taking vows are mentioned in the Hevajra, here it refers to the skillful means of appearing as the wheel of deities and the wisdom of realizing emptiness of inherent existence as inseparable. Like that, the skillful means-wisdom yoga of meditating on the Buddha's pride of appearance and so on, will cause one to attain the state of Buddhahood not for a long time like the rope of the Paramitas, which is a statement of the greatness of that path. By explaining deity yoga as a quick path, this prevents the wrong conceptions that hold that deity yogas are meaningless for accomplishing the supreme. Then, what is the reason why yoga that holds the Buddha's pride, which has the form of a mandala wheel, is necessary to accomplish the Form Body? The answer is, with the two lines "Teacher" etc. and "Therefore", the Form Body to be accomplished is adorned with marks and examples as the reason. Therefore, it is said that it must be accomplished by that skillful means that has form or appearance that shows the result. In the other two Gur Commentaries, there is no clear explanation that dispels doubts. In the commentary of the wisdom of the lineage of the gods, when the first two lines prevent the mere meditation on emptiness from being considered a skillful means, it is said that if one meditates only on emptiness separated from skillful means, one will be born in non-leisure states such as infinite space, which I do not see as reasonable. Then, in response to saying that emptiness is the skillful means at the time of the path and the result at the time of ripening, because at that time there is no other difference in the emptiness of the path as the cause and the ripening as the result, just as it is considered the result, emptiness will also become not a skillful means. The cause is the nature of having an object with elaboration, and the result is the opposite of that.

Therefore, since cause and effect are different, it is explained that the method is not just emptiness. The necessity of pointing out emptiness is the same as before. Then, if enlightenment is achieved by practicing the Perfection of Wisdom and the remaining five perfections for countless eons, this is explained in the Perfection Vehicle. In order to dispel the doubt of what to do with the methods such as the wheel of the mandala, the four lines "therefore" etc. are explained, and its bliss is the same as before. In short, experiencing the bliss of the union of the two faculties, the pride of the Buddha is to be free from the pride of the ordinary, and not long is to be obtained in this life. Then, in order to dispel the doubt of whether the body of the Buddha should be meditated upon in the manner of the Dharmakaya, there are four lines such as "the teacher", and the method seems to be explaining the three samadhis of the three bodies with form. Here, the instruction of the deity yoga of the wheel of the mandala, which many Tibetan lamas apply only to the first stage, is a mistake because they do not distinguish the breadth and narrowness of the deity yoga and the generation stage, so it must be grasped in both stages. The basis of the wrong view of abandoning the deity yoga in accomplishing the supreme is that the very meditation on emptiness is regarded as the means of accomplishing the two bodies. Guru clearly cut off this doubt and said that the deity yoga must be practiced as the cause of the Form Body, which is obvious, so I quoted it. From this, it can be inferred what is taught by other tantras, but I will not write it here for fear of being too long. The second part has two: how the teachings of the master Yeshe Zhap are explained, and how other masters explain them. The first is: As indicated by the previously cited tantra, the great master Yeshe Zhap very clearly explained the accomplishment from the method of accomplishing the self. That is to say, first, the doctrine of the Paramita Vehicle is explained, as it is said: If one is accustomed to selflessness, it is also separated from the distinction of methods, because it cannot generate the omniscient wisdom that is free from all stains of discrimination and benefits all beings, therefore, one should strive for extremely obvious methods. creature

The nature that benefits is the wisdom of omniscience, and the benefit also comes from the ultimate great cause. Its cause is only the habituation of means, because habituation to selflessness has the result of merely abandoning conceptualization. As it is said: Because of its depth and vastness, non-conceptual and fully ripened, because these two are shown in this, therefore it is the supreme means. Therefore, the non-perverted giving and so on, the mind that is thoroughly engaged is the means, because if it is completely dedicated to the nature of omniscience, then they will become the cause of perfect enlightenment. As it is said: Giving and discipline, patience and likewise diligence, meditation and wisdom, may you completely dedicate to enlightenment. Clinging to the aggregates of enlightenment, do not cling to the supreme, thus it should be taught to the first worker. So it is said. The meaning of these is that if one is separated from the vast means, no matter how much one is accustomed to selflessness, one will not attain the Buddha who becomes the nourishment of all beings, so one must strive for means. And the state of benefiting all sentient beings is also the handprint of habituating vast means, because the handprint of habituating selflessness is only the abandonment of the exhaustion of defilements. This does not mean that by meditating on emptiness apart from vast means, although one can exhaust all defilements, one cannot accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings. Nor does it mean that by merely habituating vast means apart from meditating on emptiness, although one can obtain the form body that accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings, one cannot obtain the dharma body that exhausts all defilements. Because it is impossible to obtain one of the two, the dharma body and the form body, and not obtain the other. Because the two are definitely related to relying on the same collection of causes, they are therefore never separated. Moreover, the wisdom that realizes emptiness, which is superior to the precious mind of enlightenment, is the one that eliminates all defilements of self-grasping, so it is the uncommon cause of the dharma body with two purities, but it is also the co-operative condition of the form body. Likewise
