The peg is to be driven in with a peg. Firstly, as Shantipa said, on the second day of dispelling obstacles, the peg should be driven in. Here too, it should be done in the same way. If that day is not sufficient, then it should be done in the same way. If it is sufficient, then it should be done after taking any of the expanded or condensed postures. Secondly, if you do it, get up early and generate the thought that you will dispel obstacles in order to place beings on the level of Vajradhara. After meditating on emptiness for a moment, from Raṃ (藏文:རཾ,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:Fire) arises a sun disc, and on top of that, from Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) arises various vajras, the center marked with Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ), and from the rays of light arises a blazing vajra, which spreads out and becomes a solid vajra fence without any gaps in all directions. Above it is a tent, and below it, on top of the fence, is a vajra banner, and outside is a net of arrows. The base below is also blazing, and meditate on it as the nature of various unbearable vajras. In the center of that, in an instant, one's own self completely transforms into the nature of Vajrasattva, the wrathful Lord of the Three Worlds, also known as Hūṃ-maker, whose root face is blue, the right face is yellow, and the left face is green, with three faces open, bared fangs, and a curled tongue. Each face has curved eyebrows and wrathful wrinkles, with three red and round eyes, and is endowed with six mudras such as the wheel. The forehead is adorned with five skulls, and a garland of dripping blood hangs around the neck, with a belt of heads, and a tiger skin garment hanging down. The reddish-brown hair, bound with endless black ropes, blazes upwards, adorned with the eight great Naga kings such as the powerful one. Of the six hands, the first two hold a vajra and bell, with the two vajra fists joined back to back, the two little fingers linked, and the two index fingers extended, in the mudra of the Lord of the Three Worlds, uniting with the wisdom mother of one's own light. The lower two right hands hold an iron hook and a lasso, and the lower two left hands hold a skull cup and a khatvanga, with the right leg extended and the left leg bent, the two feet pressing down on Bhairava and Kalaratri, who are on top of various lotuses and suns. Like the blazing mass of light of the extremely wrathful fire of the eon, it is as if devouring all the obstacles of all beings. Uttering the fierce sound of Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) and looking in all directions, from the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) in one's own heart, light radiates

Then, summon the obstructing demons of the ten directions with Ere, and entrust them to the ten wrathful deities manifested from Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). The obstructing demons of the ten directions are the embodied obstructing demons, headed by Īśvara, along with their retinues. In the commentaries on the Garland Treatise and the Compendium of Origins, it is said that after making a fence, etc., one should stake with the phurba. Marmedza, Dārika, the Black Practitioner, and others performed empowerment, etc., after staking with the phurba, and Lāva-pa said that it should be done in both cases. The previous expulsion of obstructing demons was to command the obstructing demons and expel them to other places, but here, summoning them is as Lāva-pa said, summoning the obstructing demons that have fled. Therefore, at the time of commanding, those who do not listen to the command and flee to other places, wanting to cause obstruction again, are summoned and staked with the phurba, and kept in place until the activities of the mandala are completed, which is known from the time of removing the phurba. Here, generating the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) and then commanding the obstructing demons, and summoning those who do not listen to the command, etc., is because in the second part of that Compendium, it is said that in the past, all the unruly ones, such as the fierce Īśvara, were subdued by the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Therefore, this teacher thought that later followers should also emulate this, and it would be especially excellent to subdue the malicious ones with its pride. The second part has two points: how to make the phurba and its generation ritual, and the method of staking with the phurba, including special visualizations. The first point is: the material of the phurba should be made from any of the three: sandalwood, bone, or iron. The length should be any of the three: eighteen, twelve, or eight fingers, and the thickness should be one-third of its length. As for how to make the shape, this treatise, Nāgārjuna, and Śrīdhara all say that for the purpose of meditation, the upper part should be visualized as a wrathful deity and the lower part as the shape of a phurba, but it is not clearly stated otherwise. However, in the Empowerment Chapter, it says: the upper part is the shape of each deity, and the lower part is the shape of a phurba, there are ten. Lilavajra also said: the upper part of the phurba is a wrathful deity, and the lower part is a single-pointed vajra. Therefore, up to the navel, visualize the form of the wrathful deity as described, and below the navel, visualize the form of a single-pointed vajra, as Śāntipa also said, so make it accordingly. Then, wrap it with five colors of thread in order, and smear it with mustard oil and red sandalwood, with flowers.
