Of glory. The great sacred place blessed by the noble Avalokiteśvara, who took the form of a king, is known as Potala (Potala Palace). ༈ Svasti prajā bhyah (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Auspicious). The root of auspicious interdependence, which perfectly arranges temporary and long-term happiness as desired, is said to be the Lama in all scriptures, so meditate on the essence of the Three Jewels and pray. No matter how much you enjoy the prosperity of this life, at the time of death, all non-Dharma will deceive you. The fruits of black and white karma will not deceive you, so strive to abandon evil and do good. The actions of killing innocent beings will quickly ripen and will surely be experienced, and if they ripen on oneself, there is no way to endure them, so be very, very careful about this. This person is very fond of this kind of behavior, adorned with noble conduct, a Khampa wandering in indefinite places, this is the teaching of Je Tsongkhapa. This was the teaching given to the official Yonten Gyatso of Stodlungpa when he first arrived in Olkha. ༈ The only protector of beings, the Victorious One, I respectfully prostrate at your feet, with great faith in your teachings, the letter sent by the wise one, with gifts delivered, holding an umbrella and doing good deeds, I am very pleased to hear that you are very diligent in this. The most precious wealth of a great person is wisdom, faith is the basis of all white Dharma, diligence can eliminate meaningless waste, therefore, strive to rely on these. Use everything wisely, cultivate merit and accumulate blessings in youth, seek to obtain many benefits, and practice them properly and truthfully for yourself and others. Meaningful words, even a single phrase, can accomplish everything for the wise. Even the teachings of all Buddhas are difficult to benefit the ignorant. One can become happy in this world, and it does not contradict the next life, those who understand this principle are called wise by the wise. This is the teaching given by the Shakya monk Tsongkhapa to the practitioner Drakpa Rinchen, who possesses the wealth of wisdom. ༈ Namo Guru Manjughoshaya (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Homage to the Guru Manjushri). 凡诸沉溺痛苦大海者，彼等彼等我将救度之， 如是伟大誓言随后成办者，慈爱彼母足莲花， 何者以敬于头顶极供养，获得闲暇妙身之妙容汝， 我于饶益所说之随行中，略说少许以至诚谛听。 定然将至且必速疾至，若未屡屡修习死亡念， 善念不生生亦徒然尔，仅成耽著此世之圆满。 是故见闻他众之死亡，忆念于心我亦如是， 必速降临然何时至无定， 届时身及受用友眷等，与诸皆离善与恶业， 如影随形紧紧相随且，恶业较之长久力尤强， 三恶趣之痛苦将生起且，善业经由善趣后， 速疾获得胜者之果位，了知如是日日思维。 如是思维励力 refuge，能仁赞叹居家之所依， 恒常五戒如理如智学，时节斋戒八支分， 善加受持守护尤为要，尤以二世俱损之， 饮用迷醉圣者皆呵责，是故妙容汝当呵责处， 于此业则永断乃为佳，何者受用究竟乃痛苦， 纵然暂时悦意亦莫近，混合毒物佳肴馔， 岂非众人皆弃之未见耶？日日亦当供养三宝等， 勤于善事忏悔昔所造，日后律仪愈加愈精进， 所有积善回向成佛因，总而言之生与死时节， 孤独而生孤独而死故，亲友等众皆欺诳， 无欺之胜者乃是妙法，此短暂人生如电瞬息逝， 无论如何行持后世恒乐一，修持之时即是现在善思维， 莫使闲暇珍宝空耗费，如是教诲所得诸福德。

Those who are drowning in the great ocean of suffering, I shall liberate them, each and every one, Whose great vow is subsequently accomplished, The lotus at the feet of that loving mother, Which anyone reverently worships with their head, You, with a beautiful face, having found the excellent support of leisure, In following what I have said for benefit, I will speak briefly, listen with a determined mind. If you do not repeatedly train in the thought of death, Which will certainly come and will surely come quickly, A virtuous thought will not arise, and even if it does, It will only amount to indulging in the prosperity of this life. Therefore, when you see or hear of the death of others, Reflect in your mind that something like this will Surely come quickly to me, but there is no certainty when it will come. At that time, body, possessions, and friends, Will all be separated, and virtuous and sinful actions, Will follow like a shadow, and The suffering of the three lower realms will arise from sinful actions, which are long-lasting and powerful, And from virtuous actions, passing through the happy realms, The way to quickly attain the state of a victor. Know this and contemplate it day by day. Having thought in this way, strive to take refuge. The Able One praised the support of a householder, Learn the five constant precepts in accordance with your intelligence. It is extremely important to properly take and protect the eight branches of the bi-monthly fast. In particular, drinking intoxicants, which ruin both worlds, Is condemned by the holy ones. Therefore, beautiful-faced one, it is best to completely turn away from this action, Which is a cause for condemnation for you. Whatever is indulged in that ultimately leads to suffering, Even if it seems pleasant in the moment, should not be relied upon. Haven't you seen that everyone avoids Well-prepared food mixed with poison? Each day, strive in virtue, such as making offerings to the Three Jewels, And confess the sins you have committed in the past. In the future, make your vows stronger and stronger. Dedicate whatever merit you have accumulated as a cause for enlightenment. In short, at the times of birth and death, Since you are born alone and die alone, All friends and relatives deceive you. The supreme one who does not deceive is the sacred Dharma. This short life is momentary like lightning. No matter what you do, the ultimate and lasting happiness is one thing. Think well that now is the time to practice. Do not waste the precious leisure and opportunity. Whatever merit is obtained from such advice.
