Even those who have not cultivated wisdom abandon it for a long time. However you calculate, it's all in vain. Since you must go to the next world, it is wise to strive for the benefit of the next life. Obtaining a human body and encountering the teachings is a rare opportunity, only this once. Here is a place to accomplish great things, so contemplate this and take the essence of the human body. If you are overwhelmed by the thought of "doing it today, doing it tomorrow," when death arrives, you will have nothing to do. Therefore, the meanings of what you have heard should be put into practice immediately, without delay. For a person devoid of mindfulness and the armor of wisdom, all sorts of circumstances will constantly harm them. Moreover, it is difficult to find help in virtuous deeds, so the wise do not rely on others. This is extracted from a reply to one who is said to be increasing in wisdom. ༈ Oṃ (藏文, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ) May there be good fortune and well-being! The birth of an extraordinary and excellent explanation, like the mind of the holy ones being captivated. The fragrance of the sandalwood tree, moved by the fragrant breeze, is not like that. Therefore, you are the ornament of the throats of the wise, the goddess Saraswati who bestows the glory of speech. I respectfully prostrate to the Blessed Mother, may you expand the offering of words. With the four great oceans as a girdle, on this great southern continent, at the crown of many small kingdoms, whose command and decree is at rest. The one called "the eye of Jambudvipa," whose fame is widely known in all directions, has become an ornament in the ears of beings. Your foot dust shines brightly, like a crown ornament. You are a follower of the glorious Shakyamuni Buddha, a field of merit that is the unsurpassed source of benefit for beings, a wish-fulfilling tree that fulfills the hopes of beings in this degenerate age. May you, protector, remain steadfast in the field of merit. Thus, after paying homage to the god of desire and first uttering auspicious words appropriate to the occasion, it arises from the expanse of the great golden ground of pure goodness. Adorned by the steps of the four means of gathering, skillful in means, and the sacred place of sustenance for those to be tamed. In the center of the great ocean where the waves of glory and wealth ripple and sway, standing tall, shining brightly, like the second king of mountains, in a manner that is victorious over all directions. Before that, I will state: For the people of the snowy mountains, and for the many beings of China, you are the eye of wisdom that clearly explains the path to heaven and liberation.
