In order to understand correctly, it is like this: I once stayed at Nyishar Monastery in Upper Lhodrak, temporarily striving to seek extensive learning, just as you have done. Coming from afar for the sake of yoga is for the two stages of the unsurpassed vehicle. The Blessed One also extensively praised abandoning seven steps for the sake of extensive learning, solitude, and proper mindfulness, so it is very good. The venerable Maitreya said to Prince Norsang: "Norsang, you are the most steadfast son of wealth. It is very good to come before that wise one! Have you come with compassionate love? Have you come with a gaze of perfect peace? Do not be discouraged, come hither, it is good to come! Without weariness of mind, come hither, it is good to come! When practicing, have you not become weary?" Just as he said, so too should it be said here. It is not just any way, but after careful examination, to bring to completion the vows that have been made. There are many virtues, and conversely, there are corresponding faults. Because one should learn these, it is particularly important, but the reason for not encountering them is as it is stated in your letter. Offering to a single pore of the body of a virtuous friend who unerringly shows the ultimate path surpasses offering to all the Buddhas. The unsurpassed vehicle says this because in the field of unsurpassed benefit, it is even more supreme than the Buddhas, and this is with reason. Having ascertained this truth, offer your own life, merit, roots of virtue, and everything else for the sake of the virtuous friend's long life. By promising to do so, please also recite the twenty-one recitations. This is an easy way to complete the assembly of intelligence, so I rejoice greatly and will do likewise. From the holy ones, words of good exposition, until one has not heard them, not abandoning the practice of austerities, by this one accomplishes great things. After seven years had passed, Dharma Increased (Chöpak) thought, "When will I hear the Dharma?" Thinking thus, time passed and he always wept. When he heard the Dharma, he obtained the boundless gates of samadhi.

Also, in order to show future beings, the Victorious Ones know and see, and what they say should also be contemplated. To you, the wise one, the well-spoken words have been thoroughly explained, and although they have been shown in many ways in the past, this new well-spoken word of impermanent youth, brings joy and praise, so this is also said. This is the auspiciousness of Shar Tsongkhapa Lobsang Drakpa, a letter of instruction to Cho Tsa Kachuwa Yonten Gyaltsen, written by Nyetangpa Guṇaśrībhadra. After the complete explanation of the King of Tantras, the Glorious Guhyasamaja, the method of offering gratitude to the Vajra Master, etc., is as follows: The teachers and students, as when previously explaining the Guhyasamaja Tantra, should clearly establish the mandala of the dependent and the dependence of Guhyasamaja. Visualize that in the center of the mandala, your own guru is inseparable from Vajradhara. Visualize that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas around, like sesame pods, fill the entire expanse of space. The students should maintain the pride of being whatever deity of their own mandala. Arrange abundant offerings and tormas, and with the four offerings of outer, inner, secret, and suchness, properly offer to the guru, oneself, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and their retinue, and the protectors. Then, the praise: The mind of the Vajra of the three times, the basis of existence and liberation, peaceful, stainless, and pure, the nature of space. The Buddhas are complete, the Bodhi is free, the Vajra Holder, to him I always pay homage with body, speech, and mind. Whatever is form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, the six sense bases and the six faculties, earth, water, fire, wind, and all of space, like the vast Bodhicitta, to him I pay homage. The fault of delusion, the desire, the Vajra Dharma, etc., arising from the union of wisdom, always closely connected, various forms, the real that is intoxicated with joy, like the vast Bodhicitta, to him I pay homage. Holding, joy, and form, likewise unchanging, the nature of cause and effect, the Dharma that arises in the mind, ignorance, hatred, desire, the obscuration is the Vajra, like the vast Bodhicitta, to him I pay homage. Whatever is the beginningless reality, pure, meditating on this, arising from skillful means and wisdom,
