In the captivating, flavorful, and changing chapters, within the layers of exquisite chapters, with the four precious and good meanings as the theme, the beautiful body written with the pen of Saraswati, the completely filled great biography, is the temple where the light of blessings shines, I have established it in this deep and boundless ocean of wisdom. He protects the vast earth, treats the country and people with extreme love, with a subdued mind, the pure reputation he protects, with pure deeds, gives supreme happiness to beings bound by karma. By his power, the teaching of the Shakyamuni, the victory banner of the teaching, makes the negative forces like the night unbearable. In the center of the earth that he reverently protects, he rules and governs in the manner of a Chakravartin, and exhorts with words. By pleasing the venerable Lama, the fame of Drakpa Zangpo spreads in all directions, and everything is accomplished as desired, this is achieved through the power of accumulating favorable conditions. The regent with the name of fame, the dust of the feet marked with the Dharma wheel, is placed on the head by the second auspicious hero. That guide's Dharma conduct is only expressed in the way of poetry. If seen by the holy ones, it would be a cause for shame, worldly words have not been used here. Avoiding hindering the enjoyment of the feast of good sayings, abandoning arrogance, approaching the wise, studying the vast and profound meaning, becoming familiar with the rhetoric of poetry. Therefore, poetry does not contradict the scriptures, and poetry is both great and long.

Due to the dimness caused by the sting of jealousy, Which covers the eye of wisdom, How can one endure this unparalleled excellence? Even so, when excellent teachings appear in the world, The wise rejoice, while the jealous, The feeling of displeasure increases, this is the norm. Therefore, what can I do about it? From the time the prince-guru was born, Until entering the realm of peace, The wondrous deeds of the Buddha, adorned with poetry, This is from the holy land, The supreme master of eloquence. The noble hero passed away from India, The sole poet in the land of snow, Composed by the glorious Losang Drakpa. By whatever white deeds are accumulated from engaging in this practice, May the noble guru, the refuge of all beings, His immaculate intentions be fulfilled as desired, May all sentient beings abide in the pure realm. As long as the mountain of biography remains, May the intelligent youth, those who study from a young age, Bestow immeasurable goodness upon beings, May wisdom endlessly expand upon all that is knowable. This work, entitled "The Mountain of Blessings, a Poetic Biography of the Bodhisattva, the Great Being Drakpa Jangchub Palzangpo," was composed at the behest of the lord of men, Rinpoche Drakpa Gyaltsen Palzangpo, and with the perfect support facilitated by the teacher Gomba Drakpa Lekdrup, who respectfully takes the dust of the feet of the Dharma Lord himself upon his head.
